February 2005 Updates

Miscellaneous Ramblings - 2/28/05

It's the last day of the month, so of course there are some last-minute review additions and updates to make. I still haven't actually compiled the list for April's reviews, because Kawabe Chieko's new album has yet to be released, so I think we're going to be stuck with a month of reviewing BGMs. Sorry about this! Anyway, on to the updates:

Loreal (Kunzite) has submitted her reviews for the month: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. Great reviews, straight to the point! Check them out.

A new staff member has joined our team! Welcome Akarui of Kibu No Tenshi. Akarui will be reviewing as Sailor Mars. That's right folks, again Ballads and Bows is without positions for reviewing. Sorry to those who applied for the position and did not make it. Perhaps I'll open up guest position spots or something, so that you can review when you want to, with the songs you want to, without real obligation to membership of the site. It's something to think about. Anyway, welcome to the team, Akarui! We can't wait to see your reviews for March!

Since Akarui got the last position, the join form has been retired. It'll come back if positions free up or if I add new spots, don't worry!

As I was saying before: I have not decided on a list for review songs for April yet. I like to announce songs for the month ahead when I update for the first of the month, but I'm not promising that I'll be able to. I want to pick some really good songs. I'm going to search for some more J-POP releases from the actresses/actors, but if I find nothing we will (unfourtunately) be stuck reviewing BGMs. It's boring, but I think it should hold us over just long enough before we get the Kawabe Chieko CD from Ruth of Junketsu. =)

That's all for today. Expect new updates and stuff tomorrow. By the way - I realize that we are having severe bandwidth problems at the moment. Only one more month until the server should be getting switched over. I hope we can last that long before we go out again. Thank you for the support and for your lovely comments on the tagboard, everyone! Until tomorrow, goodbye!

Last Calls - 2/27/05

Today is the day before the review deadline, so if you have not submitted your reviews for the month yet (and I know who you are, muahahaha!) please do so soon. Reviews will NOT be accepted after the 28th, please keep that in mind.

Before I list the actual updates for the site today, I'd like to go on a small rant about the importance of getting reviews in on time. If you submit your review two days before the deadline (which yes, I understand, things do come up) consistently, how do you expect anyone to read your review? I'm sure that people browse through the archives to check out reviews for songs they may like, but sheesh. It's much better to have everyone read your reviews when they're new. It makes doing all the work that much more satisfying. I dunno. I guess that's just my two cents on it. Anyway:

Sailorasteroid, our darling new Jedite, has submitted his reviews for all of the songs this month: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. His reviews are quite humourous and very well done, take a look!

Joy Azama, our newest Sailor Jupiter (yes, she changed from being Kunzite to Jupiter - that's okay!) has also submitted her reviews for the month: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. Wonderfully done reviews! The insight is great, but be warned, these reviews are a bit lengthy! If you are truly interested in reading the perfect reviewing style though, this is the stuff you should check out. Great reviews, Joy!

That's all for today. Tomorrow will most likely be jam-packed with last-minute reviews and other miscellaneous updates, so keep an eye out. March 1st will bring a new song list and a new set of songs to be reviewed. Enjoy the site, and have a great day!

Addicted - 2/26/05

Since I'm bickering with Tim, I went out and saw Constantine last night. What a horrible movie! I know it's popular and all, but personally, I think the plot was rancid, the acting just sucked, and Keanu Reeve's character could have been a much more humourous "asshole". There, I said it. The movie sucked and I want my $10 bucks back, lol. You know, I could have spent that $10 playing a hell of a lot of DDR...I won't make that mistake again >_<;

So, on to the updates: Ciao (Sailor Pluto) has submitted her reviews for the month: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. These were actually sent in yesterday after my update, so I shifted them to today. Enjoy!

Alexa has also submitted her reviews for Yakusoku and Mi Amor. Check them out!

Everyone seems to like the new layout a lot! And yes, I promise that I will try to make the new one Kitagawa Keiko themed - she happens to be my second favorite actress in PGSM (next to Kawabe Chieko, muaha!) so getting me to do something with her is easy. I doubt I will ever make a red layout, though. I don't like the color much...

Speaking of layouts and the like, I have submitted a layout for Sailor Moon Pocky Box's monthy contest. Isn't it pretty?

I am GOD!

Yes yes, marvel at my perfection...honestly though, I don't think my layout will win. Jenn from moonsenshi.org is entering, and her layouts are always amazing. My dear friend Akarui has also made quite the submission. The submission that REALLY blew me off my feet thus far was by our very own Ciao, who reviews as our Sailor Pluto! WOW! I'm amazed. Like I said, I don't think I'm going to win, but it's worth a shot anyway =)

And for the Kitagawa fans, I have added a new Kitagawa Keiko linking button to the site. Enjoy!

I'm currently working on a bit of a secret project (okay, so if you're part of the SMPB Forums, it's not a huge secret...) so updates probably won't resume until March 1st. Sorry about that!

On a small note, I have also joined another fanlisting. Enjoy!

On another small note, Sat (Sailor Saturn) and Jessica (Sailor V) will not be reviewing this month. Sat is just far too busy with other projects to review this month (hopefully she'll be back next month, though!) and Jessica's laptop went and killed itself on her. So, see you in March, guys!

That's all for today. Enjoy the new reviews!

Violent Impulses - 2/25/05

For the last few days, my connection has been going in and out. Damned snow in late February! I'm really sick of the snow, if you haven't noticed. Being in New York is a real drag. Last night we were POUNDED with four inches of snow, which is relatively not a lot when you compare it to the 18 inches we got last month. But, March is only days away, and I just want it to be spring already. I pre-emptively bought tulips for the house, but they're all dead now, because insulation in this place is generally non-existant. I HATE THE SNOW! Anyway, on to the updates:

Since I've been bored and not able to get online until today, I made a new linking button =) It's not much, but it's there. Please click here to check it out!

Also, isn't the new layout just darling? I got pretty sick of the PGSM-costumed Sawaii Miyu and Shibue Jyoji, so I thought that a spring-inspired change to something a little more Hama Chisaki was in order. (Note: I will never call her Rika. I hate that name. To me she is Chisaki - glad to have gotten that in the open ^ ^;) The old layout has been archived, so if you missed the purple-ness that this site survived through, you can see it there. Hopefully this layout will last a bit longer than the last one did, but considering I'm already getting irritated with the gradient job I did to the right of Chisaki-sama, it may not. Don't be surprized if the inline frame decides to accidentally break again...=) And no, the layout isn't green like I said it would be. There was just no way I could make Chisaki look decent with a green tint, so blue it is. Besides, it matches her senshi colour better!

Anywho...I've asked several of the staff team to start translating lyrics found on this site into other languages. Soon, you will be able to read the lyrics in Spanish, Dutch, French, German, Bulgarian, Russian, and Tagalog. If you speak another language not mentioned above, please contact me so we can get the translations! I want this site to be as international-user-friendly as possible, so the more languages the better! I haven't really decided how I'm going to organize all of the new lyric translations, but hopefully it'll come to me =) This site is primarily done in English, but the visitors come from all over! Recently we've had an interesting influx of Japanese and Dutch visitors (I wonder why) to the site. Hopefully we'll start to pull in more from other countries! Currently, the countries who visit this site are: United States, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Poland, United Kingdom, Macau, China, Mexico, Australia, France, Phillipines, Thailand, Norway, Italy, Argentina, European Union (this shows up as a country on the StatCounter, for some reason), and Vietnam. Quite the list, eh? I had no idea we had so many international visitors! Japan is actually ranked 4th highest as one of our visitors, so please, let's give them work to be proud of! (personal notice: I love the Japanese and want to make Japanese visitors above all others happy, since this site is based on a Japanese show. Plus, since my translations are *for the moment* Japanese -> English, I want to be doing it correctly to make the Japanese happy. I love all of my other international visitors too though, don't get me wrong!!)

Def Soul, a half Japanese girl from France, has submitted tons of corrections for the romanji lyrics of the Kawabe Chieko tracks. Thank you so much, Def Soul! Your name has been added to the honourable mentions list.

Lauren has donated another linking button to the site. Lauren has also given the site a new gift for reaching 4000 hits. Thank you Lauren!

Tons of reviews have been added today - 11 to be exact. It always seems that I get the most reviews towards the end of the month. It's too bad, because then people have to dig through the archives to find some really good, quality reviews. Bah. Anyway, let's start on the list:

Ephie (Zoicite) has submitted her reviews for the month: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. Excellent reviews as usual =) Take a look!

Alexander (Prince Endymion) has submitted all of his reviews for this month as well: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. Check them out!

Tobias (Sailor Venus) has submitted his review of Lovely Yell. Take a read!

Also, you may have noticed that I have joined this site into a bunch of new fanlistings for PGSM music. While I am not personally a fan of everything I've joined for the site, other members are, which is why they're there =) Whenever there is a new PGSM Music Fanlisting, please let me know about it if I haven't joined already, and I'll add it! Since we're all fans of everything here, I want to join them all! I just have to wait until someone makes them...lol.

You may have noticed that the guestbook has been removed. No, this was not due to flames - in fact, this site has yet to receive a flame via tagboard or guestbook, which is pretty amazing if you ask me. The guestbook was removed because I felt it was redundant - people can sign the tagboard if they so wish. The tagboard is more customizable and modern (if you ask me, anyway) which is why it was chosen over the guestbook. Sorry to all of you who liked it better! From now on, you can post in the tagboard instead. =)

What a long update! That's all for today though. Look for more reviews and other site-tweakings tomorrow. So, for now, enjoy the site and reviews!

Updates + Corrections - 2/21/05

You all may have been wondering where I've been and what I've been up to. And what I'm thinking and what I'm wearing...and where Tony is right now.../Saturday Night Live shtick.

As I wrote before, the 17th was my 2 year anniversary with Tim, so I partied! Thursday night we went to this fabulous little sushi restaurant in town and gorged. I think the bill was at least $50 (which I guess isn't much, comparatively speaking) and I left feeling quesy. I'm allergic to strawberries. They aparently put some odd strawberry sauce as decoration around the sushi, and some of it got on the stuff I was eating. Being the oblivious little glutton I am, I didn't even notice. Unfourtunately Tim did...AFTER I had demolished the plate of sushi. So while the restaurant was great, even excellent, my night afterwards was not. Throwing up strawberry seeds is a very odd feeling. The night DID eventually get better though, a few Ginger Ales later =)

Enough about me, on to the updates: David Chart has submitted corrections for the translation for Hidamari. Thank you so much, David! Hopefully more corrections will be coming soon. I *really* suck at kanji...

Tobias (Sailor Venus) has submitted his review for Mi Amor. Please check it out!

Alexa (Queen Beryl) has submitted her review of Lovely Yell. Great review, keep up the great work Alexa!

There is a new staff member today! Her name is Loreal and she will be reviewing as Kunzite. Again, there is only one reviewing position left on the site! Please adopt Sailor Mars before someone else does! Welcome to the team, Loreal!

We have also received TONS of gifts lately! Check out the gifts page to see everything. Thank you to everyone who sent the site lovely gifts! They are greatly appreciated!

Lastly (but not least!) the Serecindra testimonial has been updated again. Thank you to Topaz (Sailor Mercury) for her submission to the testimonial. Great work!

Expect some new testimonials and more editting of the translations later this week. I have the whole week off of school, so I should get a considerable amount of work done.

Reviewers: there is only one week left before the reviewing deadline!. Please get in all your submissions by the 28th. Thank you!

That's all for now. Thanks for visiting the site, and have a great day everyone!

PS: The tagboard seems to be down for the moment. It should be back tomorrow-ish!

The Long Awaited Day - 2/16/05

Just because you all care about my personal life so much, I feel that I should mention that tomorrow I will not be online (probably at all) because it is the two year anniversary of mine and Tim's relationship. I'm really excited and happy about the day, and I'm pretty sure we're celebrating it, so I won't be online. To make up for this, I've done something amazing to hold everyone over for (probably) the entire weekend:

THE LONG AWAITED KAWABE CHIEKO TRANSLATIONS ARE DONE AND ONLINE!. Sorry, but I want the news to get out. You can get the link to the new page by checking under the new "Specials" section, or just by clicking here. If you are an overt observationalist, you will have noticed that the .php file is named "kawabe-special-1.php"; there will be TWO Kawabe Chieko specials, the second one coming out when I get a copy of her new CD Brilliance and I get those translations (and songs!) up for download.

A huge thanks to Ruth of Junketsu for providing me with the original lyric sheets and the pictures featured on the song images. Ruth put a lot of hard work into sending me all of the files and making scans for me to translate from, so please thank her! Without her, you wouldn't have these translations!! ^ ^;

I will say this right now: I do not have great bandwidth, so please do not tell everyone about this all at once. While I am waiting to move to my new hosting service, the site will be slow. This is not going to be cool when there is a new release that everyone wants their grubby little hands on, so please try to conserve bandwidth if possible.

I am also warning everyone who uses the translations: THEY ARE NOT FOR YOUR WEBSITE! DO NOT POST THESE ON LIVEJOURNALS, WEBSITES, FORUMS, OR MESSAGE BOARDS! I AM SICK TO DEATH OF MY STUFF BEING STOLEN! I DID *NOT* SPEND OVER 8 HOURS WITH A KANJI DICTIONARY SO THAT YOU CAN LIE TO YOUR FRIENDS AND TELL THEM YOU TRANSLATED THIS STUFF! I AM NOT GIVING PERMISSION TO ANYONE TO USE THESE TRANSLATIONS FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN PERSONAL USE. So, don't even bother asking, or saying you didn't realize =) There are big, capital, angry letters everywhere for a reason. A note for other webmistresses: Elly (I) am the only person at Ballads and Bows with the authority to give permission to reproduce my translations. Saying that another staff member said it was OK does not mean it is. My rules go over what anyone else says - since I pay the hosting, maintain the website by myself, and (basically) do all non-review work by myself (*and* I review!) I expect just an itsy-bit of respect for my work. So, don't touch it. Feel free to sing along and belt out the tunes in your room at all hours, just don't dare try to put this on any other website. My work is MINE. I have this policy only because of two certain individuals who have just trashed and stolen my work tons of time before (*cough* Serecindra *cough* De'Angelo *cough*) so if you want to bitch them out over this, go for it.

Anyway, that's all for today (and most likely the rest of the weekend). I have all of next week off of school, so there will be a lot more updates then. Look forward to a few new testimonials, and check out the Sailor Moon Pocky Box for a new article (it should be out in a couple days or so). Until then, enjoy the site, and have fun with the Kawabe stuff!

PS: Congratulations to Sailor Moon Pocky Box for reaching over 100,000 hits! You guys are amazing!

Happy Valentine's Day! - 2/14/05

Love is in the air! Tim and I had a wonderful day (which was a bit of a surprize, since he was supposed to not come home until late tonight, due to college papers and the like) and spent a lot of time together. Monopoly is fun! And I'm half decent with chocolate molds! Woot! Erm...yeah...anyway. On to the actual updates:

Firstly...Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

This gift is for my staff, my affiliates and sisters, my friends, and most of all, my visitors! Feel free to take this gift for Valentine's Day and put it on your website, or just save it for yourself. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I look forward to all of your comments and support, so everyone, thank you for visiting this site! Just think of this gift as a small token of my appreciation.

On that note, I've received three Valentine's gifts today! The first is from Alexa, another comes from darling Ruth of Junketsu, and the last one (but certainly not the least!) comes from Rikki of Moonlit Fantasia. Check out their lovely gifts by clicking here. Thank you for the wonderful gifts!

And lastly, the Serecindra testimonial has been updated again. Did you know that Serecindra once wrote a Harry Potter erotica story? Little miss innocent, writing about Harry caressing Hermione's "tits"? No way! Read for yourself under the new section, "LMAO Links". The proof is all there. Before she deletes it, I will also be making screen shots of the story, so that she can't deny it later. Also, a big thank you to Betty Ann of The Oracle for providing the testimonial with a new article! Thank you, Betty Ann!

That's all for today. Enjoy the new wank, and get a good laugh to make the perfect ending to your Valentine's Day =)

Okay, I blew it - 2/13/05

I think the best way to start off my excuse-telling is to say that I have been a DDR obsessed freak for the last five years. The last two of those years I have been dereft of a DDR machine. Rockland County, NY, is a place where NOTHING happens...ever. There's pretty much nothing to do here (either than to sit around on your computer, hence the existance of my many web-happenings) and so, when I found out Friday night that a new arcade opened up with a brand new DDR machine (8th mix - Extreme), I could not resist. This weekend Tim and I spent over $50 on playing DDR alone. I am so completely and utterly broke right now that I don't know I'll be able to afford playing again this weekend (which is difficult for me to deal with, since I'm right back where I left off with the game). I spent my ENTIRE weekend at the new arcade, over 13 hours on Saturday alone. I should mention I play most songs on Maniac mode with 8 feet, that should tell you something about the amount of water I consumed during this time period as well. I didn't do any homework this weekend or site work, because quite honestly, I felt that my time playing DDR was better spent. Was this fair to my staff? No. Was this fair to my visitors? Of course not. I needed a weekend off (I've been pretty stressed lately, for some odd reason), and I didn't want to face my responsibilities. I'm sorry. I'll try not to let it happen again.

However, since my return Sunday evening at around 7 PM, I have done a bit of updating. Thank GOD that my inbox wasn't flooeded. Without further adieu, the updates:

Emo-chan (Sailor Luna) has submitted her reviews of all of February's songs: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. Wonderful reviews, as always for Emo-chan. Check them out!

A new staff member is finally being announced! Welcome Sailorasteroid (Jedite)! Sailorasteroid reviews as Sailor Uranus at Sat's ever-popular Sailor Moon Pocky Box, so if you absolutely CANT WAIT to see the kind of work this guy produces, you can check out his qualifications there. Welcome to the team!

Another new reviewer has been added to the team, but the join form keeps screwing up and submitting positions that don't exist anymore, so that sucks. However, when I know which position has been taken, I'll take it down. Hopefully we'll know more about this "mystery member" later this week.

For those of you interested: I do not have the Kawabe Chieko lyrics translated, as promised. I screwed off completely this weekend, and as a result, I'll be attempting to do the work during my study hall 4th period at school every other day this week. I don't know when I'll have them all done. Until they are all completed though, I will not be posting any of the lyrics (or the songs, for that matter) on the website. I like to do everything in one shot - this way I feel like I'm actually updating something large when I do update. I hope this is not a problem to anyone. If it is - tough. I do the work, not you. If you don't like my schedule, then I suppose you should go translate this stuff yourself.

Also: I am switching hosts...in TWO MONTHS! Activewebhosting has this IRRITATING policy where you have to give them 60 days notice before they'll transfer your domain to another server, so now I'm waiting. Thank you for your donations, everyone! If you haven't noticed, things have been pretty slow around the site lately...grrr...

Lastly: the Serecindra testimonial has been updated again. Thank you to Alexa for her wonderful write-up on Serecindra's Shingetsu theft. Great work! Please check it out. Also, a thank you is in order to Sat of Sailor Moon Pocky Box for her image hosting and support. Thank you, ladies!

That's all for today. Thank you for visiting the site, and don't yell at me too much for slacking off ^ ^; Have a wonderful day!

Damn, I'm really lazy - 2/10/05

I've had reviews for the last three days to post, but I've been so completely LAZY that I haven't worked up the boredom to do it until now (yes, at times, coding is purely a one-dimensional bore). So, without further adieu, Kaitlin, who reviews as Kuroki Mio, has submitted her reviews for February: Lovely Yell, Kirari*Sailor Dream Remix, Yakusoku, Mi Amor, and Change of Pace. They're great reviews, take a look!

Translations update: I have translated and made romanized lyrics for the songs I Can't Wait and Hidamari from Kizunairo by Kawabe Chieko (the actress who played Naru in PGSM).

It seems that I Can't Wait is actually a cover of the song "I Can't Wait" by Hillary Duff - The Disney brat. I had no idea, because I am so out of tune with American culture (yeah, I'm a hard-core PGSM nerd, so sue me!) that I didn't realize "I Can't Wait" was an American song from some Hillary Duff movie soundtrack. I was in Japanese class earlier today asking Sensei for some help with translation (I admit, I'm N.G. *no good* with Kanji). We have a plasma screen in class, so when I opened my e-mail with the image attachment of the lyrics sheet from the single (thank you again, Ruth!) everyone in the class could see it. Clearly. A cheerleader in my class by the name of Maryam (interesting girl she is) noticed there were English words, and started singing them...along to the tune of the Japanese version of the song (which is the same as the Hillary Duff version, in a roundabout way)! I was amazed! "You know who Kawabe Chieko is?!" I screamed. Maryam gave me a blank look, blinked a few times, and said, calmly: "It's a Hillary Duff song. Silly girl. Who is Kawabe Chieko?" Did I ever feel stupid. It's days like today that give the PGSM fan perspective. Not everyone in America is so into Japanese culture, and today was a loud awakening to that. I guess I'm just spoiled, since almost all of my online friends are as into Japanese culture and PGSM as I am, and since in anime club, almost EVERYONE has reached my level of nerd-dom about Japan and such. But, Maryam's notice saved me a hell of a lot of kanji trouble - the lyrics to the Hillary Duff version and the Kawabe Chieko cover are pretty much exactly the same after you do a bit of transliteration. Lucky me. Hopefully now I'll be able to get more translations done =)

On that note, you may have heard that an .avi of me with my anime club will be released online fairly soon. This is true everyone, it's not just a rumor! There are around 30 kids in the club at any given meeting, and I teach PGSM to them, so it makes for an interesting watch for PGSM fans. It should be editted and online (thank you to Kyle, our club's tech. advisor, my fellow student in Japanese, and an all-around great fencer AND friend!) by (the latest, Kyle tells me) next Wednesday. I'm not really sure how I'm going to distribute the video, so if you have any ideas, please contact me about them =)

Ruth (Sailor Neptune, and my personal savior) has donated two linking buttons - thank you so much, for everything! You are wonderful!

On a brief sidenote, the Serecindra testimonial has been updated again, this time quite a bit. I hope everyone enjoys the additions and changes =)

That's all for today. Have a wonderful night, and enjoy the reviews!

TONS more wank + site donations - 2/7/05

Look at that, three days of everyday updates. I'm happy I'm keeping at a (somewhat) steady pace online. Anyway, the updates for today:

Ruth (Sailor Neptune) is the best person EVER in existance! She has just sent me the new Kawabe Chieko tracks from her new single, Kizunairo, the lyrics (in Japanese only, they will be translated shortly) AND the lyrics to the tracks from her popular single, Shining. The lyrics for the following songs will be romanized and translated shortly (and I know you've all been waiting for this): Cry Baby, Shining, and Quiet Riot. Please don't get TOO excited, it will take me the rest of the week to get all of those translations done (I admit, I suck at kanji, and usually need to whip out my oversized Kanji dictionary to help me out. I spend HOURS pouring over the damned thing, making sure that the translations are accurate...), but I will get them online as soon as possible, since I know they have been long-awaited. Also, Ruth will be sending in Kawabe Chieko's NEW CD Brilliance for both your listening and karaoke-singing pleasure next month. And yes, I will be painstakingly translating each track from that CD as well =) I can't wait! Kawabe Chieko month/months are finally here, and I am personally very excited. I hope that you guys share the same enthusiasm that I do. Thank you so much Ruth, for giving all of us at Ballads and Bows the opportunity to be the FIRST ones on the web with the new songs and the translations. Hooray! You are the best! Go to Junketsu right now and praise Ruth until she becomes so bloated with compliments that she lifts up and starts to fly away (so that I can chase after her with a pin and bring her back down to Earth, LOL)

A big thank you is also in order to Ciao for her lovely gift. Thank you so much, I am more than grateful for all of the support I get =)

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) also has her review online for Lovely Yell - check it out!

Lastly, I would like to say a few words about the Serecindra testimonial/her flame war that I would like to get out of the way. While I do not much care for Serecindra myself (I feel that's more than evident, considering I have two articles about her problems with me) I am not offended by her petty insults. Do not be too offended that she feels the need to harp on the fact that I have a mother with skizophrenia and say that I have the same mental illness. It seems like that's the only insult she can think up on her own, so let it lie. Hopefully I will have enough information soon to be able to take her to court over the whole mess. Frankly, I'm sick of the drama, and VERY sick of the libel she's been spreading across the internet. It's time for this crap to end. And, if for some reason I can't get the information I require to file the suit, then I will continue my writings as my own little way of responding to her wank. On that note, the newer testimonial has been updated (again) due to more activity on her tagboard from others. It's an interesting read and it uncovers a few more of her lies, it's worth your time.

Anyway, that's all for today. Enjoy the updates and the reviews, and have a great day!

More Wank + Re-Organization - 2/6/05

First up today, Ilse has submitted her last review for the month, Mi Amor. Please check it out, it is a great review!!

Now, on to the real work I did today...I spent around three hours re-coding all of the reviews, so that they all have easier navigation. That's right people - I coded in page anchors for every single review for every single reviewer...ever. It took FOREVER, but now if you want to look at a past (or present) review, and don't want to scroll forever, you can just click your name at the top of the page, and it'll take you to your stuff. Isn't that nifty? It took three hours to do not because it was difficult, but because I did it all in order of who reviewed first - last for each page, and had to make it perfect and neat like everything else I attempt to do. Everything SHOULD work. Hell, I even coded in page anchors for reviewers that no longer are a part of the reviewing team. I was pretty bored this morning and had nothing else to do (surprizingly, I had no homework this weekend) since Tim wasn't over and I woke up early (relatively speaking - I usually wake up at noon on weekends, today I woke up at 10:00 AM o.O;;). Anyway, all of the reviews have been updated, so from now on, when a person submits a review, I will be able to link DIRECTLY to their review from the main page, this way you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of a page to find the latest review. Hooray! Man, I'm such a geek...

Also, the Serecindra testimonial has been updated again, since my good friend Lauren submitted some more screen shots and things for the page. I would also like to thank Merman for his contributions to the testimonial, with both screen shots and time. Thank you so much, everyone! I'm glad that those of you who actually take the time to read the testimonials enjoy them so much. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has a sense of humor about the wank with her. =)

That's all for today! I've been a bit bored lately (as you may have gathered from the insane amount of work I put into creating page anchors) so I'll probably be adding some more buttons and things like that to the site later today. Look forward to it! Have a great day, and enjoy the site!

Wank + Reviews - 2/5/05

Tons of reviews, today, people! And many other random, miscellaneous updates as well. I hope that you will enjoy them all =) So, let's begin:

First up is Ruth (Sailor Neptune), who has completed all of her reviews for the month. Congratulations, Ruth, on having wonderful reviews as usual!

Alexa has donated a wonderful linking banner to the site! So pretty! Thank you Alexa!

Frosted_Rain (Nephrite) has submitted his reviews for: Kirari*Sailor Dream - Remix, Change of Pace, Yakusoku, and Lovely Yell. They are great reviews, as usual for Frosted_Rain.

Ilse (Dark Sailor Mercury) has submitted her reviews for Kirari*Sailor Dream - Remix, Change of Pace, Yakusoku, and Lovely Yell. Check them out! Also, Ilse, I'm sorry for originally misplacing your reviews - they are online now!

I have also affiliated with Moonlit-Fantasia, a great BSSM Graphics site! I've known the webmistress for around a year now, so it was just common sense to affiliate with her with this site! FallenAngelCeres (the webmistress) has offered a lot of support in the past, and she's a great person! Check out her site today!

Tobias (Sailor Venus) has submitted his reviews of Yakusoku, Change of Pace, and Kirari*Sailor Dream - Remix. Please check them out!

Kero-chan (Tuxedo Mask) has submitted all of his reviews for February! Hooray! You can check them out by going here. (Yes, I really am that lazy to type out all of the individual links to the songs...)

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) has submitted her reviews for Change of Pace, Mi Amor, and Yakusoku. Please check them out!

I have also made a couple of new linking buttons for the site. Please check them out.

Finally, I would like to announce that I have added a secondary Serecindra testimonial. Aparently, she feels the need to continuously blame me for her problems. And, each time that she starts drama, I will write more about her. Enjoy the new bit! You can click on the same link to your right to take you to the index. Hopefully, she'll go away after this and I won't have to write anymore...

That's all for today! Please enjoy the new reviews, and have a great day!

Groundhog's Day? WTF? - 2/2/05

You know, I've never much cared for Groundhog's Day. It just serves to put me in a pissed off mood, since usually it is predicted that there will be another six weeks of Winter, which in New York, is VERY irritating. I'm sure my other northerners can attest the same kind of feeling. Anyway.

New reviews today! First up is Nickole who has submitted her review of Kirari*Sailor Dream - Remix. Please enjoy! Nickole has also given the site a wonderful new gift! Thank you so much for the sentiment! I am really flattered!

Alexa, who reviews as Queen Beryl, has submitted her reviews for Change of Pace and Kirari*Sailor Dream - Remix. Enjoy! Look forward to a Staff Review of her Favorite song soon!

Also, my lazy butt finally did the reviews for the month. Bah. You can check them out by clicking here. Take a look.

Joy Azama is now Sailor Jupiter instead of Kunzite. As such, the join page has been updated accordingly. While the Sailor Jupiter position is now taken, Kunzite is still up for grabs. Get him while he's hot...

Also, I've sent out a bit of an e-mail to all staff members. If you are a staff member, please be sure to check your inbox! If you did not receive the e-mail, please contact me so that I can tell you what you missed. Everyone is on my list, so there shouldn't be any problems as far as I know.

Lastly, I would like to give a bit of a message out to the visitors: Serecindra has been complaining about a "troll" of her tag-board on her main page. The person in question is called Onnanoko (which oddly enough, means "girl" in Japanese...) and has read my testimonial of Serecindra, which is how it is "my fault" that Serecindra is being flamed. To answer that: Truth is truth, Serecindra. Suck it up. It's not my fault that others realize you're a fake. I'm not going to take responsibility for anyone else's actions. However, Onnanoko, if you're out there, I would love to get in touch with you! You're from Hokkaido? Interesting. I would love to talk to you more if you ever read this. You can find my e-mail on the navigation panel =)

Okay, got that out of my system. I don't mean to come off like I'm Serecindra bashing, I'm just damned sick of her sending her friends after me for writing the bit of truth I have about her. So, all of you who are reading this who are friends with Serecindra, do not be offended! I just wish the girl would leave me the hell alone.

That's all for today. Enjoy the site, and come back again soon!

Edit: 10:11 PM EST - Jessica's staff image has been added to the site! It's actually been done and on my computer for some time, I'm not real sure why it wasn't up before...damned my absentminded-ness!

Tobias has donated two more buttons to the site! Thank you Tobias!

Tobias and Jessica, I'm sorry it took forever to get this edit up. I'm trying to compress Babylon 5 episodes for the boyfriend, and it's KILLING my computer's memory, which means that toggling between windows and loading new programs is a royal pain in the ass. Wish me luck, though! That is DEFINATELY all for today, I promise! More to come tomorrow!

The Orders of Business - 2/1/05

Welcome back to the site everyone! A new month has started, and with it come new things!

Firstly, all of January's reviews have been archived! How sad...but Mew looks happy!

Damn Mew for her happiness at this!

January's updates have also been archived for your pleasure.

Another staff position has sadly become available. Goodbye to Watters Keith, who reviewed for two months as Sailor Jupiter. Good luck with your other projects!

As a result, the position for Sailor Jupiter is now available on the join page.

March's reviews have also been announced! Please click here to see which songs we'll be reviewing! I am particularly proud of the images I made for the March reviews, tee hee ^ ^; All of the images used for these little banners were taken from Three-Lights.Net, as opposed to the usual screen shots I usually make myself. This is mostly because there are very few good shots of Kawabe Chieko in PGSM, and because I don't like using Hama Chisaki pictures for PGSM without thinking about Sailor Mercury. Enjoy!

Obviously, we are now reviewing the songs for February. Many have already submitted their reviews, such as our darling Topaz (Sailor Mercury) who always gets in all of her reviews a month or so in advance. She (as usual) has submitted all of her reviews for February! You can check them out by clicking here.

Ruth, who reviews as Sailor Neptune, is contributing something wonderful to this site! Sometime this month she should be receiving the new Kawabe Chieko singles, as well as the new Kawabe Chieko CD, Brilliance. Not only will she be donating the songs from the CDs, but also the lyrics and SCANS of the CDs! How nice of her! Go over to Junketsu and thank Ruth for her kindness! NOW!

Lauren (who used to review as Sailor Mars) has submitted 12 new linking buttons to the site, as well as a gift to the site for reaching 3,000 hits. Thank you Lauren!

Also, I should briefly mention that I have added a new button to the site, myself...

The links page has also been updated. I have removed all broken links and such, so everything should work =)

That's all for today. I should be adding a picture of myself to the staff page later this week. I would have today, but my computer is being a screwy bitch and refuses to accept uploads from my camcorder. Also, my anime club meeting at school today was video taped for a bit of a report, but when I get a copy of the raw meeting, I will more than happily upload it somewhere so everyone can see how I act in action when teaching PGSM to the group of 30 freshman at my high school =) It should at least give everyone a good laugh, because I am a total goof in real life. Look forward to it!

That's all for today! Thank you for visiting the site, and have a great day!
