March 2005 Updates

Just Blah - 3/28/05

I know everyone's all pissy 'cuz I haven't updated at all for over a week. Before you even think "Where were you, Elly?!" I would like to state this: It is impossible to update a review site when I had received no reviews. Over the last three days or so, I've been receiving reviews...in bulk...which means I had zero time to do anything online except code. I've coded 32 reviews in the last two days, and while you may not think that's a lot of work, consider that I also have two new roommates that I am STILL helping move in everything, that I was damned busy yesterday (Easter), and that I have some small semblance of a life myself. That being said, I would like to take this time to OFFICIALLY COMPLAIN to the staff who have flooded me with last minute reviews. You all suck. *cries* I swear, the next time I'm flooded with that many reviews at the end of the month...grrr...I don't even know what I'll do, I'll be sure to think up something nasty within the next month or so. As you can tell, I'm not really happy that I spent 9 hours at the computer doing nothing except coding plain text into HTML (which isn't difficult per se - it's the fact that it had to be done in bulk).

Let's begin with the disgustingly long list of reviews I've coded, shall we? Hooray for copy and paste:

First, I have received a new gift from Aruchan89. Enjoy!

Ilse (Dark Sailor Mercury) has submitted translations for the following songs into Dutch: Sweet Little Resistance, Happy Times, and Hoshi Furu Yoake. You can find all of these songs on the lyrics page.

Emo-chan (Sailor Luna) has submitted all of her reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Enjoy!

Frosted_Rain (Nephrite) has submitted all of his reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Check them out!

Kara, our newest member who reviews as Kuroki Mio, has submitted her reviews for the month also (I actually received them earlier than the others, but for some reason my mail server didn't send me the original copy until this morning. Luckily, Kara freaked out at my e-mail and sent me a copy two days ago ^ ^; Thank you Kara!): Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Great reviews!

Joy Azama, who reviews as Sailor Jupiter, has submitted all of her reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Enjoy!

Akarui (Sailor Mars) has submitted her last two reviews for the month: Kanojo wa Ijiwaru and Ame. Check them out!

Alexander (Prince Endymion) has submitted his reviews for the month as well: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame.

Loreal (Kunzite) has also submitted her reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Enjoy.

As you may or may not know, yesterday was Easter Sunday. To celebrate this (even though I don't know why, I'm not really Christian or even religious o.O;;) I've made a little gift. Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

I have also received a new gift from Fallen Angel Ceres of Moonlit Fantasia in celebration of Easter. Thank you so much!

Sadly, two of our staff members have left the team. Say goodbye to Sat, who reviewed as Sailor Saturn, and Tobias, who reviewed as Sailor Venus. You will be missed!

Goodbye Sat and Tobias!

As such, the join page is online again. Enjoy!

That's all for today. Next update will be on the first (one of my favorite holidays...April Fool's Day xD). Until then, enjoy reading the mass collection of reviews from today x_X;

Edit: 4:38 PM - I've added Ciao's (Sailor Pluto) reviews for the month. Enjoy: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. |

Brilliance + New Layout - 3/20/05

Hooray! I've made a new layout already. I was getting sick of noticing all of the flaws from the Chisaki blue layout, so I whipped this up. I hope everyone likes it!

Because this layout is now in use, the Chisaki layout has been retired. You can check it out in the layouts archive.

I've also added a comment tracker to the site. Other popular websites like Junketsu and Three-Lights.Net have them, and their visitors seem to really enjoy it, so I decided I would follow suit. I like making my visitors happy, what can I say? Enjoy the new feature!

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) has submitted her reviews for Kanojo wa Ijiwaru and Ame. Enjoy!

Sailorasteroid (Jedite) has submitted his reviews for Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier and Ame. Check them out!

Thank you to everyone who offered to give me the .mp3s for the new Kawabe Chieko CD, Brilliance! My new friend Glitter has graciously provided me with the entire album's .mp3s, and she is also providing me with the scans from the lyrics book. Thank you so much, Glitter!

Def Soul has provided me with the lyrics sheets for the following songs by Matsushita Moeko: Ame Agari (After Rain), Sunflower, A Place in the Sun, and Natsu Iro (Summer Colors). Thank you so much! I will have these songs translated soon.

I still need the lyrics sheets for the following songs: Still..., Summer Breeze, HELLO, and BREAK THROUGH. If you have these songs, please send me scans/copies of the lyrics sheets. Thank you!

I also need the lyrics sheets for the song 15 no blues by Kawabe Chieko. If you have the lyrics either from the scans or romanized, please contact me about it at elly@reisei-sa.net. Thanks in advance!

Also...a Happy Belated Birthday to Emo-chan, who reviews as Sailor Luna. She has turned 18! Hooray! Happy birthday Emo-chan:

Happy 18th Birthday Emo-chan!

I should have the new Kawabe Chieko album online by the end of the week with (hopefully) translations. Darling Ruth of Junketsu is providing the hosting for the files until we switch hosts. Thank you so much, Ruth!

Have a great day, and enjoy all of the additions!

Hooray! - 3/19/05

I'm taking a small break from moving my new room mates in. Man, moving stuff is really hard u_u; Anyway, a few updates for today:

Ilse (Dark Sailor Mercury) has submitted two new translations: I'm Here and Sayonara~Sweet Days. You can also find them on the lyrics page. Enjoy!

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) has submitted her first review for the month: Koi Suru Soldier. Check it out!

I've made some adjustments and updates to the cast page. If you are interested you can check it out.

I've also corrected an error I noticed found on the new FAQ. Should be all fixed now.

Recently our server has been having a lot of problems, so you may have noticed that the site is going up and down. With it is also my e-mail login, so if you can't see the site, I can't check my e-mail, which sucks. I can't wait until this server move is all over...

However, there is some good news for the site today! Akarui, who reviews as Sailor Mars, has informed me that her friend Glitter has a copy of the new Kawabe Chieko CD, Brilliance. I should be getting those files up for download sometime this week with permission from Glitter. Thank you Glitter! I have also requested lyric scans from the lyrics book from the CD (if one exists!) so I should be able to do translations and the like by the end of the month for the new songs. Lots of work coming up! Anyway, the new Kawabe songs are out, WAI WAI WAI!! *dances*

I also have a bit of a request for the visitors/staff out there: I am in search of several songs by Matsushita Moeko. They are: Natsu Iro, A Place in the Sun, Ame Agari, Sunflower, HELLO, BREAK THROUGH, Sotsugyou (graduation), still..., and Summer Breeze. If you have any of these songs, or all of them, PLEASE contact me through e-mail (elly@reisei-sa.net) or AIM (VioletFirefly87) or MSN (flutegirl87@hotmail.com) to send these songs to me. I would love to review all of the songs by Moeko-san! You will get full credit on the site for providing the .mp3s or .ogg, whatver format they are in. I will also be needing lyric sheets for these songs if they exist, so if you happen to have those send them along as well. They will be really useful to me in my translation work.

A new layout should be up on the site soon (I know, this one hasn't been around all that long!) because I got bored and was messing about in Photoshop. It features Sawai Miyuu, Hama Chisaki, Kitagawa Keiko, Azama Mew, and Komatsu Ayaka. That should be enough to make everyone happy, right? Anyway, it should be online later this week xD

That's all for today! Enjoy the site, and please consider donating if you have some extra cash!

FAQ YOU! + Link - 3/18/05

My induction in the Japanese Honors Society last night was GREAT! I should have the clip online of me being inducted, and me in the little skit we did in Japanese online sometime this weekend, or on Monday at the latest. I'm actually looking for a host for the file at the moment (since it's pretty large), but I'll have it online eventually =) Thank you to everyone who wished me luck, it worked!

I've added a new FAQ section to the site. There's a little picture of me on there, for all of you freaks out there who have been obsessing on what I look like xD Please check it out, even if you've been reviewing here from the very beginning!

I've also added a new link to the links out page. Topaz, who reviews as our lovely Sailor Mercury, has a new website where you can order custom jewelery for cosplaying, or anything else you can think of! Great site!

I'm going to be a little busy this weekend, since I'm getting a new room mate and I'll be helping her and her boyfriend move in. Money has been tight u_u; I promise that we'll be changing servers at the end of this month though, no matter what! ^ ^; If you have some extra money to spare, please consider clicking on the 'donate' button at the bottom of the page...

Anyway, that's all for today. I'll be updating the cast page soon since I've noticed it's a bit...thin. It's a good start though =) Until next update!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! - 3/1/7/05

I know I said I wasn't going to be updating today, but I just couldn't help myself =) Just a few little additions for today:

Kara has submitted her picture! So pretty! Look at her cosplaying as someone from Slytherin! She's awesome!

We've also received another gift from our affiliate, Moonlit Fantasia. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too!

Lastly, I've added a donation button to the site. I really wanted to avoid doing it, but it seems pretty necessary in order to maintain the new server costs. So, if you have a few bucks to spare, please consider donating!

Wish me luck tonight at my foreign language honors society induction! Tim is video taping it, so everyone on the staff or any visitors who want to watch that crap can see. I'm so nervous, wai wai! Wish me luck!!

That's all for today. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your St. Patrick's Day and the site!

Cast Page + Translations - 3/16/05

Although my last two days have been...hellish, to put it nicely, I've created a whole new page for the site. If you are new to the world of PGSM, you can now visit the cast page, to see which artists sing which songs when we're talking about reviews and the like on the site. Hooray! The page took a couple of hours to make, so please don't copy it u_u (even though I don't see why you would, the page is geared specifically for use on this website, and it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense anywhere else).

Ilse has also added two new translations! You can now sing along (sort of) in Dutch to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Katagoshi ni Kinsei. Check out the additions by clicking here.

We also have a new staff member to announce! Our newest staff member is named Kara, and she will be reviewing as our newest Kuroki Mio. Welcome Kara to the team, everyone!

Since Kuroki Mio was the last available position on the site, the join page is closed again. Sorry about that!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, we have received a gift from Nickole, who reviews as Sailor Uranus. Thank you for the gift, Nickole!

Since I will be very busy tomorrow night with my National Honors Society for Foreign Language induction ceremony thingy at the United Nations school in New Jersey, I won't be able to update and such. So, I'm giving away my St. Patrick's Day gift early. Enjoy!:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

That's all for today, everyone! Have a safe holiday tomorrow, and be sure to wear lots of green xD

Happy White Day! - 3/14/05

It's White Day! Hooray! Happy White Day, everyone!

White Day Omedetou!

For those of you who don't know, White Day is a day celebrated in Japan exactly one month after Valentine's Day. You see, on Valentine's Day in Japan, only girls give boys chocolates, boys give no gifts in return on that day. Act 19 of PGSM covers Valentine's Day in Japan pretty well. On Valentine's Day in Japan, girls generally give boys brown chocolate. On White Day, however, boys return the favors they got from girls on Valentine's Day. Boys generally give only three kinds of gifts, and they all have a meaning. White chocolate (what the day is named for, this was actually a corporate idea) is maybe the most common gift. White chocolate returns the message of "I like you as well, we should date", something to that effect. Cookies means that "I like you just as a friend". The worst thing to get on White Day if you are a girl is marshmellows, since it carries the message "I don't like you at all". So, if you didn't celebrate or know about White Day before, now you know!

Thank you to Ilse for three more translations!. Ilse has added translations for Friend, Here We Go!, and Romance. Great job Ilse! You can check out Ilse's new translations by clicking here.

That's all for today! This Thursday I am being inducted into the Foreign Language National Honors Society for acheivement in Japanese, so I'm really happy! This week will be pretty busy and stuff for me, so I don't know that I'll be able to update much ;_; Wish me luck on my honors society dinner! Tim will be there with the camcorder getting it all on tape, so I will be able to transfer it online without much difficulty afterwards, and then everyone can see me and laugh at me =) Anywho, until next update, bye bye!

GREAT NEWS! + Translations + Reviews - 3/12/05

HOORAY! I FINALLY GOT MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER TO UNIVERSITY AT ALBANY! WAI WAI WAI!!! *jumps up and down* I am so damned hyper! I am so so happy that I got in! So, this fall, I am officially going to University at Albany as a declared Japanese Studies major. WOOT! *dances*

Another great piece of news! I also went out and bought my dress for prom last night, and it's this pretty red-thing. Whenever I get a camera I'll take some pictures and put them online, the dress is just beautiful. Better yet, I got it on this amazing deal, where it was a $250 dress, and I got it for just $86!! I had a great day yesterday. I also lost 6 lbs, hahaha. Life is beautiful. Now, on to the real news xD

Akarui, our newest Sailor Mars, has submitted her reviews for the following songs: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, and Koi Suru Soldier. WONDERFUL introductory songs. Akarui is truly a great reviewer. Please check out her amazing reviews when you get the chance! Akarui darling will also be translating the songs for us into French, so go and thank her to death for her kindness xD

Kero-chan, our wonderful Tuxedo Mask, has submitted his reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Excellent reviews as always!

Even better, Kero-chan has also submitted his first five lyric translations from English to Spanish. They are of the March review songs xD. Check out the lyrics page to check them out!

Last but certainly not least, Ilse, who reviews as Dark Sailor Mercury, has submitted two more lyrics translations. These can also be found on the lyrics page.

Also, a few corrections are in order for today. Ilse has kindly pointed out to me that Kaitlin's icon was still Kuroki Mio when it should have been Princess Sailor Moon. This has been corrected. Thank you Ilse!

Another correction has also been added, in regards to the song "Ame". Thank you Mousey for providing this information! I am pasting the e-mail she sent me below, so that others can check out what she sent me. Behold my laziness!

Hello Elly,

I'm mousey, and I just love your sites! I take a particular interest in Ballads and Bows. I think it's a really cool idea to review all these songs! If I had the time and the skills, I would want to make song review site.

Anyway, I thought I should inform you of something: I was reading your review of "Ame" and noticed that you mentioned you were surprised it was the ending of the anime Angelic Layer. I thought so too when I first heard the song. But I recently discovered that this is a common misconception among PGSM fans. You see, Moeco sings two songs about rain - "Ame", her fifth single, used for a few endings for a few talkshows, and "Ame Agari" (After Rain), her second single, used as the second ending of Angelic Layer. So the song "Ame", which many people think is the ending of Angelic Layer is acctually...not...hehe. ("Ame Agari", in contrary to "Ame" has a little more of a rock beat to it, and I personally like it much better than "Ame".) You can download a wmv clip of the second ending at http://www.pummeldex.de (Click on Downloads, then Japanische Videos and it should be there).

So I thought I would just like to straighten that out. And I apologize if you've already been informed. ^.^;

And now I'd like to thank you, for all your hard work on some great, interesting sites! ^.^

Best wishes,
mousey

Since I've received this correction and the correction from Ilse, the mentions page has been updated. Thank you Ilse and Mousey for the corrections!

Also, I've updated the reviews for "Ame" so that there is a paragraph explaining that it is not actually the same as the second ending to Angelic Layer xD

Hooray! So yes, erm...bah. I think that's all the updates for today. Have a great day, and enjoy all of the additions!

Translations - 3/11/05

Hooray! We have received our first Dutch translation of the PGSM songs. Thank you so much to Ilse, who reviews as Dark Sailor Mercury, for doing the translation. Your work is excellent! Thank you SO SO much!

That being said, you can now find Dutch translations on our new lyrics page, along with any other languages that the songs will be translated into.

So far we have translations scheduled for the following languages: German, French, and Spanish. If you speak a different language than those outside of English, please contact me at elly@reisei-sa.net so that we can work something out. I am very much interested in having translations done for as many languages possible, so if you have the time and expertise and are willing to do this kind of heavy-duty work, please contact me! All of your lyric translations will be given full credit and a copyright with your full name and e-mail address will be posted at the bottom of each song you translate. If you are not comfortable with this, please make note of it at the bottom of your contact e-mail. Thank you!

On another note, I haven't really been receiving any new reviews, which makes me sad ;_; Please submit your reviews when you have time! Elly needs an excuse to update!

I won't be going away to the Jersey Shore this weekend, so I'll probably have some time to do updates and the like. I will be going Prom dress shopping this evening with some friends. Wish me luck! Currently I'm on a bit of a diet, and so far I've lost 7 lbs in just two days! Wai! The cabbage soup diet actually works. Basically, you eat vegetable or cabbage soup for 7 days, with slight variations every day. The first day you eat all fruit with the soup, the second day all vegetables, the third all fruits and vegetables, the fourth is all meat, 5th is all milk and bananas, 6th is all meat, and the last is all vegetables, I think. I'm only on my second day of the diet, and I've already lost 7 lbs, so I'm really happy about it. If I continue at this rate, I'll be my goal weight (120 lbs) in no time! I hope it works out! Everyone, cheer me on! I want to be able to wear a bikini this summer, wai!! xD

On another non-site related note: I've got a new chocolate mold and chocolate type! I now offer mint chocolate in shamrock molds for St. Patrick's Day! I also now have the colors: red, purple, yellow, white, blue, pink, brown (it's dark chocolate), and green. I also offer the following mold sets: roses, butterflies, teddy bears, sunflowers, and buttercups, and shamrocks. A dozen is $10, or you can buy a half dozen for $5. Individual pops are $1 each. Shipping is relative to what you order! ^ ^; If you are interested, please e-mail me at elly@reisei-sa.net with a subject like "chocolate order" or some such. I accept paypal, money order, and personal check (note that your order will not be shipped until money clears, though!). All orders are made upon payment to ensure freshness. So please, order today!

That's all for today. Enjoy the site, and check out our new translation!

Reviews + New Lyrics Page - 3/8/05

Things have been pretty boring lately. I've started my new project, and it's going really well, but it won't be going online until we switch servers because it's going to take up a *lot* of bandwidth. Anyway, the updates:

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) has submitted her review of Be Your Girl. Check it out!

Since I noticed we were having particularly high site traffic today, I checked StatCounter to see where all of the hits were coming from. Aparently, some of the wonderful people over at Shingetsu's Message Board have been noticing us, and citing us as a location to find some of the rarer PGSM lyrics! We're getting attention! Hooray! I never really thought about this site being a place to come for lyrics, but now that I think about it, I guess that's another popular aspect of this site. Woot! Thank you to all of the people over at Shingetsu who have spread the word about us! I'm glad that people can find the lyrics to songs that they've been looking for for months! ^ ^; To make finding the lyrics you're looking for a little easier, there is now a new lyrics page, where all of the song titles are listed alphebetically. Enjoy!

That being said, I would like to remind the staff that I am in search of lyric translations for the songs from English to any other language. If you have the time and expertise to do this, please contact me at elly@reisei-sa.net about it. Thanks.

And, another annoying reminder:

You can buy chocolate pops (colored, hooray! they're not just boring brown!) in the following mold sets: roses, butterflies, teddy bears, sunflowers, and buttercups.

That's all for now. Reviews and things like that for this site have been a little slow, so don't get too upset if we don't update every single day ^ ^; Every other day should be good enough =) Also, there is a good chance that I'll be going to the Jersey Shore this weekend, so reviews submitted from Friday - Sunday will most likely be pushed into Monday's large update. Have a good day, and enjoy the site!

Reviews + Linking Buttons - 3/6/05

Welcome back, everyone! The site's bandwidth is doing a little better, but we are scheduled to move soon! Hooray! Damned the hosting peoples...

Sailorasteroid (Jedite) has submitted his review for Be Your Girl. Great review! Check it out!

I've also added two new linking buttons to the site. They feature Kawabe Chieko (with blue eyes! eeep!) and Hama Chisaki. Images are courtesy of Three-Lights.Net. Thank you Lisa!

And until I get some orders, the following will display until I do =)

Lastly...since no one wants my chocolate...*tears* I've lowered the prices to INSPIRE purchases =):

You can buy chocolate pops (colored, hooray! they're not just boring brown!) in the following mold sets: roses, butterflies, teddy bears, sunflowers, and buttercups.

I'm working on a few new projects at the moment, so any new reviews I receive today will be shifted to Monday's update. Until then, bye!

Reviews + A Pleasant Reminder - 3/5/05

New reviews added today.

Ruth (Sailor Neptune) has added her song reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Wonderful reviews as always from the lovely Ruth.

Jessica (Sailor V) is back! Her reviews for the month are online: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Great reviews! Good to have you back, Jessica!

We've already cleared 5,000 hits, hooray! To commemorate the celebration, we've received some new gifts from Lauren. Thank you! I've also made a bit of a "gift" for the visitors for this occasion, as well:

Thank you for 5,000 hits!

Thank you for the 5,000 hits! It is especially nice to know that people keep visiting even with the crappy bandwidth problems. So, thank you!

Corrections + Additions - 3/3/05

Welcome back to the site, everyone. A few announcements are in order:

First, a belated Happy 22nd Birthday to Tobias, who reviews as Sailor Venus. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Tobias!

I couldn't help but post this picture somehow after Sat sent it to me. Honestly, (and this is NSFW) the bread Sawaii is holding DOES look like a penis, the way the loaves are stacked against each other. Do we think this was on purpose? I do! LOL. Anyway, Tobias, I hope you get as much of a laugh from the picture as I did. Happy birthday!

I will try to give everyone on the site gag birthday gifts like this with funny pictures of the PGSM cast, only because it gives me a good laugh (and hopefully everyone else!) and I can't think of a better way to make someone smile on their birthday. At times I am a bit inappropriate, but if it really bothers you that much, let me know and I'll stop...or at least attempt to be a little less perverted =)

On the note of in-appropriate-ness (I don't even think you can conjugate something that way), my reviews for the month are all online: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Beware, however: I only gave one song out of the whole set a grade higher than two hearts.

Nickole (Sailor Uranus) has submitted her review of Hoshi Ni Negai Wo. Check it out!

Thank you to Sailorasteroid (Jedite) for pointing out some errors on the site! The review links for March's reviews are now accessible.

The title card for "Kizuna Iro" (it used to be Say Goodbye) has been corrected. The .mp3 title also makes note of this page.

That's all for today! More updates tomorrow. And, a pleasant reminder:

I am VERY strapped for cash at the moment. As such, I am offering chocolate-making services! Hooray! You can buy chocolate pops (colored, hooray! they're not just boring brown!) in the following mold sets: roses, butterflies, teddy bears, and sunflowers. A dozen is $20, or you can buy a half dozen for $10. Individual pops are $2 each. Shipping is relative to what you order! ^ ^; If you are interested, please e-mail me at elly@reisei-sa.net with a subject like "chocolate order" or some such. I accept paypal, money order, and personal check (note that your order will not be shipped until money clears, though!). xD

Have a wonderful day, and enjoy the reviews!

Odds and Ends - 3/2/05

God, this slow crap is REALLY pissing me off. I'm more than a little frustrated at the moment. We are scheduled to move on the last day of the month (life sucks) so at least this won't be lasting a whole lot longer. On to the updates:

Sailorasteroid (Jedite) has added his first review for the month: Hoshi Ni Negai Wo. WONDERFUL review! Please check it out!

Kaitlin will now be reviewing as Princess Sailor Moon instead of Kuroki Mio. As such, the join page has been updated so that you can join as Kuroki Mio. Hope that's okay with everyone!

Lastly, I am VERY strapped for cash at the moment. I accept paypal, money order, and personal check (note that your order will not be shipped until money clears, though!). xD

That's all for today. Expect more updates (and likely my reviews for the month) tomorrow. Have a great day everyone, and enjoy the new review!

The First of the Month: Evening Edition - 3/2/05

I know, I know. Today's update is HORRIBLY late. I have a tiny excuse though - there was a horrible storm, we got around a foot of snow, and school was cancelled. While you may think this would give me more free time at home, I remembered I had some huge project to do, as well as some orders to make for my new chocolate making business (yes, I like making chocolate, so sue me =p). As much as I wanted to do updating today, I just didn't get around to doing it until now. I hope this is okay with everyone. First things first:

February's reviews have been archived, as have the updates.

Chisaki! DAMN YOU!

Look there if you're itching to read the reviews you didn't quite catch (or read old news if you're into that kind of thing o.O;;) If you can't tell, I'm obsessed with teh spiffy butterfly brush you've seen featured...everywhere =)

Tons of new reviews were submitted today! Coding 15 reviews was a nightmare, but here they are!

Ilse (Dark Sailor Mercury) has submitted all of her reviews for this month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Wonderful, excellent reviews Ilse! You really worked hard! Now everyone, go check them out!!

Topaz (Sailor Mercury) also has submitted her excellent reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Wonderful job! Go and check out Topaz's work! Also, CONGRATULATIONS, TOPAZ! Topaz darling is pregnant with her second baby! What great news! Congratulations on your pregnancy, chika! Topaz's baby is due in November, so shower her with extra love!

Lastly (but certainly not least-ly!) is Kaitlin (Kuroki Mio) with her reviews for the month: Be Your Girl, Hoshi Ni Negai Wo, Kanojo wa Ijiwaru, Koi Suru Soldier, and Ame. Great job, Kaitlin! Please take a look at these reviews, they are just wonderful!

Sadly, however, there is a bit of bad news in today's update: Laurana, who reviewed as our Princess Sailor Moon, will no longer be reviewing here at Ballads and Bows due to time restraints. You will be very missed! Thank you for all of the time, hard work, and effort you have put into creating your wonderful, well-written reviews the months you were with us! I will miss you especially hard, just like our readers and the rest of the staff! Good luck with your other projects!

As such, the position for Princess Sailor Moon is open. The application form link is again accessible - make use of it if you want the position! Please note that competition for this position will probably be tense, so don't be too upset if you don't make it! ^ ^;

On the bright side, though, we have a new staff member! Her name is Akarui and she will be reviewing as Sailor Mars. Give her a warm welcome, everyone! Akarui is a dear friend of mine that I met through SMPB, so we know she's a good gal! Welcome to the team, Akarui! We can't wait to read your reviews for March!

Sadly, the network has been undergoing severe bandwidth problems. I'm sure that everyone has noticed. Thew new image-intense layout isn't helping things, either, sadly. Oh well. I'm trying to hurry along the transfer to the new host, but so far it isn't working. Oh well.

Thank you to everyone who has left polite comments on the tagboard! It really warms my heart when I see that so many people like this site and its layout =) Keep posting, everyone!

That's all for today, everyone! Enjoy the site, and take a look at our newest reviews! Have a good evening!
