Why did you create B&B?
Basically, because I adore the music of Ballads and Bows, and wanted to make an interactive site community where others could share their thoughts and opinions on the music. I had been trying to make a site about some aspect of PGSM for some time, but nothing I could come up with was original enough to satisfy my high standards of stubbornness xD When I thought of the idea for having a PGSM music review site, I knew it was what I was made to contribute to the fandom all along. I hope everyone likes it!
Who thought of the site name?
Credit for the name goes to Sat of the Sailor Moon Pocky Box.
What do you look like?

I'm the blonde. This is a photo that was taken on Japan Night 2007 last April with me and my friend Victor, and we were both wearing entirely too much make-up. But it was tons and tons of fun. My day to day self wears almost no make-up at all (usually just Bonnie Bell lipgloss) but I don't seem to have too many decent photos of that to put up. Yeeep, I look like a weirdo. <3 My friend Victor though, with the red hair? Entirely too sassy for his own good. He's hardcore into doing LARP (Live Action Role Playing) and so he's *really* good at doing make-up since he plays some kind of character that paints its entire body green once a weekend and then runs around in a forest in New Jersey. In fact, in this picture he's the one who did my sexy cat-eyes eyeliner with the liquid stuff. |
What will we review when we run out of music?
There are *tons* of Sailormoon songs out there! I think it'll be quite a few years before we get through all of them.
Where do you get your translations?
All Japanese to English translations are done by me, Elly. Translations into other languages are creditted on the lyrics page.
Will you translate something for me?
Yes, but I do charge a fee depending on the size of the project. I don't do any translation for free outside of hobbies and outside of for close friends. It's unlikely that I'll translate something for you just because you IM me and ask.
Will you make a layout for me?
Absolutely not. I've had so many issues with taking layout commissions that it just isn't worth the hassle. Try using a website like Aethereality or Day Dream Graphics.
Can I review songs from past months?
Absolutely! Just make sure that you have all of the current reviews completed for the month.
Where did you get the idea to review music?
Actually, DigiAngel of ESMOON had a similar review site, where she and her staff reviewed music from BSSM. I was on staff there reviewing as Saturn for a few months before it closed down. I think on her site now, you can still find the reviews. That's where I got the idea to review music, and I just applied it to Sailormoon music in general. I had a lot of fun reviewing under Digi Angel, and I thought other people might like it too.
Where can I get more Sailormoon music?
A good site to begin with is sailormusic.net. They have almost all of the music from BSSM and PGSM online. For Sera Myu music, a great site to check out is Sera Myu Antics, though I hear Sera-myu.com also has tons of Myu music downloads online as well. You can find some of the "rarer" music by Kawabe Chieko and other PGSM actresses right here at Ballads & Bows by visiting our downloads page.
