Michiru Kaioh's Review of "Rashiku Ikumasho"
Tone/Mood The tone of this song is incredibly happy and upbeat. In fact, it it too happy and upbeat for my tastes. In fact, the song contains cheesy lyrics and noticably-synthesized music, and little R2D2 squeaks in the Instrumental solo of the song. Not very pleasing to me.
Placement The 2nd ending theme for SuperS. Crap season deserves crap song. Thats all I can say.
Memorable Not very. I press the next button my DVD player skipping over the endings anyway, so unless a song is featured in an episode, I probably won't even hear it.

Lyrics
Listen, after school, I saw this trickster
He looks like my old flame, it's love at first sight
Now my head is spinning, I don't want to get hurt

Now my head is spinning, I don't want to get hurt
Oh boo hoo! Why would you fall in love with someone that resembled an ex anyway? Dumb lyrics are dumb.

I really really really hated this song. I guess there isn't much more to say. Actually, in the lyrics, theres katakana for Pocket bell and it's romanized as pokeberu. Why does this word make me think of a PokeBall? Dumb song is dumb.

kaioh michiru's review of Ai no Senshi
Tone/Mood This song is a medium-tempo battle theme that expresses mad-tension, like being caught between a rock and a hardplace. It's got that "Get up and do it, and don't give up" feeling to it, and when I hear it, I feel motivated to stand up and face the world.
Placement It fits really well in both episodes it was featured in. In episode 68, the Guardian Senshi are in a high-tension face off with their Black Moon counterparts (obviously not strong enough to win,) and Sailor Moon protects Chibi-Usa from Rubeus' attacks. In 102, Usagi finds herself in another Urgent situation when Tuxedo Mask is frozen and captured, and taken to the Tokyo Tower by Kaolinite. She then finds herself on her way to the Tokyo Tower with Haruka and Michiru, much to the dismay of the Inner Senshi.
Memorable Definately. I sing this one in my sleep. Besides, Yoko Ishida is one of my favorite singers.
Lyrics
No matter how bad you say a person is
If you love them you'll try to believe in them
If you love them you'll try to believe in them
These are my favorite lines in the entire song. I think this actually sums up Usagi's feelings for Chibi-Usa in that moment in episode 68.

It's obvious that I love this song to death. However, to be nitpicky, it could have had a faster tempo, and an extended base-line. I found myself unable to tap my foot to this one.

Kaioh Michiru's Review of La Soldier
Tone/Mood This is a pretty catchy, battle song with an awesome melody line. I was in love with this one from the moment I heard it. It's dark and mysterious, and somewhat sad. It's rushing, and makes my heart beat faster when I hear it.
Placement It's spot in Sailor Moon Episode 88 "Final Battle Between Light and Darkness! Pledging Love to the Future" remains sacred. The heart-drenching emotion and the pounding harmonics in this song really definately add to the battle between Neo Queen Serenity and the Death Phantom. This song was even lucky enough to land itself in the "Orgel Fantasia" CD. I wish my music boxes played La Soldier. However, I wasn't at all too fond of the placement in Myu. La Soldier is a battle theme, not a dance song (Although very dancible.) It did make for some nice orchestrated BGMs in Myu though, which also gets my thumbs up.
Memorable Yes, it is. This is a very unique Sailor Moon because of it's rare combination of blending vocals, musical instruments (Most SM Songs are synthesized,) and percussion, like the little beeps, and the wolf howl in the vocal bridge before the chorus lines.
Lyrics
Neo Queen Serenity certainly did repeat a mysterious battle for a thousand years, to preserve love and justice on Earth, so I have chosen these as my most meaningful lyrics in the song.

Keep in mind, I was critiquing the Moon Lips/Sakurakko Club version of the song featured in the anime series. I dislike many of the Myu singers for their voices. Let's face it. They really aren't the voices of the Senshi in the anime (although Nao Takagi comes pretty close.) And I know the Sakurakko Club is composed of mostly Myu singers, but they were the original, and Originality is key.
