Sakura's Review of La Soldier

Mood/Tone: Very, very upbeat. Listening to the song wants me to go and watch Sera Myu.

Placement: Sera Myu musicals. Although, this song will fit perfectly for a PGSM ending theme or BSSM.

Memorable: First time listening to it. Now I got this song stuck in my head for awhile.

Lyrics:

With a smile we exchange goodbyes, no promises that
We'll meet again tomorrow
It's been 200 years but the same fate has come to meet us

It sounds like Usagi is singing about Mamoru.

Overall Rating:

5 hearts on this song. I love it! I love! So far my favorite Sera Myu song.

Sakura's Review of Solar Miracle Make-Up

Mood/Tone:  It's very energetic, making you want to get up and dance to it. The little sound effects make the song interesting to listen to.

Placement:  Sera Myu musicals. I don't think I can picture this anywhere else. It may be suitable for BSSM Sailor Stars Series, but not so much for PGSM.

Memorable: I only watch few clips from Sera Myu, so its hard to find this song memorable.

Lyrics:  After reading they lyrics, I get this mental image of Senshis fighting across the galaxy in flashy fukus and attacks.

Overall Rating:

I give this song a 3. Love the energy of the song, but its too short and the chorus gets annoying after awhile.

Sakura's Review of Sakura Fubuki

Tone/Mood: This has to be on of my favorite songs from Pretty Gaurdian Sailor Moon. I love Keiko's voice in this song. The mood is relaxing, which makes this song perfect to listen to after a long day.

Placement: This song was featured in Act 23 when Rei went to the hospital and preform this song in front of the children, it was also preformed at the Super Live Event by Rei and Ami.

Memorable: When Rei preformed this song in front of kids in the hospital. The nurses and the kids where getting right into the music. Not so much with the Super Live Event performance.

Lyrics: The lyrics are beautiful and touching.

Two dreams touching at the fingertips
Waves dancing on this spring day
There's no reason for it
And suddenly it stops
Can I become strong? Someday

Rei and her mother probably had dreams for the future. Like all dreams parents have. To see their kid off to first day of school, get married, be a grand parent, etc. Then after she died, those dreams where shattered. Rei is asking herself, will she become strong to overcome her grief? and move on.

Overall Rating:

5 hearts on this song. I was sad they only played this song once through out the whole series. Still this song will be one of my favorites.

Sakura's Review of Unmei wa Utsukushiku

Mood/tone: It's very beautiful song, and it matches Micharu perfectly.

Placement: Sadly this wasn't in the anime. This song would be perfect for those Michiru and Haruka romantic scenes, but this song was only for a single.

Memorable: First time hearing this song, but it bought back memories of Michiru and Haruka's sacrifices they made through out the S series.

Lyrics:

Lyrics are touching and beautiful. You can tell Neptune is singing about Uranus by the words.

Overall:

5/5 from me being a beautiful song. Still I think they should added some violin melody to it.

Sakura's Review of "Rashiku" Ikimasho

Tone/Mode: Very catchy tune indeed, it's the type of song you want to sing to.

Placement: Ending theme song for SuperS series. I remember the SuperS well, unfortunately, I can't remember this song. I don't think they had this song at the end for the dub version. Then again, its been a long time since I watched it.

Memorable: Those good old days of running home from school to watch the episodes that was taped that day.

Lyrics:

Listen, after school, I saw this trickster
He looks like my old flame, it's love at first sight
Now my head is spinning, I don't want to get hurt
What should I do? I think I've decided
I'll irritate him on purpose
Winning him over with my sailor uniform
I'll go with "my looks"

When I read this, the first thing poped in my head is Makoto and her "That guy looks like my old boyfriend" scenario.

Overall:

5/5 hearts from me for being a catchy tune, and bringing me back old memories. I still love the lyrics, and still I think their about Makoto and her "old boyfriends", but thats just me.

Sakura's Review of Ai no Senshi

Tone/mood: Typical beat from the 90's. Mood of this song is slow  then its picks up on the chorus. It's got that, lets transform and kick this youmas butt tone to it.

Placement: Song was featured in Ep. 68 and 102. I think the song suites those episodes well.

Memorable: This is one of the Sailor Moon songs I burned to a CD with the rest of my Sailor Moon tunes. Sadly, the CD was overplayed to much and got Moon Dusted at the end. Since then I couldn't find the song to download it again until now.

Lyrics:  Lyrics tells the hidden feelings of the girls living a double life and identity. How they want to live a ordinary life as typical teenagers, but they can't with evil threatening Earth.

I always want to protect you
And I'll run out for you
But love alone has an endless energy

I love this part. It tells you about how Usagi feelings for Chibi-Usa, and the will to protect her from the Black Moon Family.

Overall:

Five out of five hearts for me. I love this song. The tempo could have been a bit faster. Other then that, this song is good otherwise.

Sakura's Review of Amazon Kara Circus ga Yatte Kita

Mood/tempo: Very, very upbeat. This song reminds me of a Broadway play musical with the upbeat tempo and that jazzy feel to it.

Placement: Sera Myu 95 Summer Special Musical. I think this song would be perfect to for BSSM SuperS when they introduced the Amazon Trio.

Memorable: I already have the tempo stuck in my head. I definitely will remember this one.

Lyrics: If we three assemble, we're the Amazon Trio
We'll probably make you dizzy but we're unshakable
It's business, it's our skill, our nice bodies!

I laughed when I read this line. Sounds like they are trying to sell themselves for business.

Overall:

Five dreams mirrors for me being an upbeat and catchy tune.

Sakura's Review on Double Moonlight Romance

Tone/Mood: The tone in the beginning of the song reminds me of a Disney cartoon then it went to a waltz. This song has a romantic feeling to it with the piano and the stings playing in the background. This song would be perfect to waltz or figure skating to.

Placement: Sera Myu 95' Summer Special Musicals.  This song would be perfect for that romantic scene with Chibi-Usa and Pegasus in Super S.

Memorable: Only thing pop in my mind is the romantic scene with Pegasus and Chibi-Usa.

Lyrics: The lyrics are beautiful and it tells how Pegasus fells about Chibi-Usa. My favorite line is

When I bathe in moonlight
I remember our love before we were born
Endlessly this tender feeling
Floods over me And I think of you, Why?

Pegasus is clearly saying that he is falling in love with Chibi-Usa.

Overall Rating:

Chibi-Usa and Pegasus are one of my favorite couples. These two are destined to be together like Usagi and Mamoru.

Sakura's Review on Friend

Tone/Mood: Has that Jpop feeling to it., but very catchy and upbeat to it. I love the electric guitars in this and the actresses sounds cute when they sing to together.

Placement: Ending of PGSM and also preformed at Kirari Super Live event. This song is perfect for the last Act. I can't think of anywhere else this song fits.

Memorable: Sad at the fact PGSM is over and done with.

Lyrics: The lyrics are all about friendship.

I was smiling, shy of
This thing called friendship
Thanks for giving me
This wonderful dream

Each girl was an outcast or alone until Usagi came along and changed things. This line here is thanking Usagi for being friends with her and showing what friendship is all about.

Overall Rating:

I love the vocals of the actresses. The song is cute, and I will be listening to this often.

Sakura's Review on Moon Revenge

Tone/Mood: Yay! Another happy upbeat song. I liked how they changed the tone to all happy excited to soft tone then picks up again.

Placement: Sailor Moon R Movie where Serenity, Endymion and the Inner Senshis where on a meteor trying to save the Earth. Perfect song for that scene. This song could also be perfect ending during the Dark Moon saga. Maybe its because of that one verse that sounds like ChibiUsa singing.

Memorable: Besides this was one of my first Sailor Moon songs that I down loaded.  I can picture all the Inner Senshi's dancing and singing to this song.

Lyrics: Lyrics time! Another song about Usagi and Mamoru. Very poetic. I love the usage of words expressing the feelings.

Trapped in the darkness our meeting is charmed
This aura can't be put out, won't falter
Seeing through our separation, I'm burning up
If I meet you again that'd be good

Yup! This verse talks about Serenity's and Endymion's "forbidden" love. Their love for each other is strong that no one can break the chain.

Rating: I love this song and the lyrics. Definitely one of my favorite Sailor Moon movie. Perfect song for a perfect movie.
