Mi Amor - Frosted_Rain (Nephrite)

Mi Amor - My Love

Tone/Mood

Me gusta tu musica(I hope I got that right...)! I feel I'm in Mexico or some Latin-oriented country. Tropical Islands baby! What a suprise a Japanese song included a Spanish verse. The upbeat is very live (Same as Miracle Dance Night by Azama Myuu). It's one of the few JPOP songs I have that can turn my room into a disco room. Talk about Saturday Night Fever-Latin-JPOP crossover, esse! Also a good song for a good mood while relaxing on a beach on a tropical island. Viva los islas de Japan! Me quiero, Señorita Chisaki (Or is it Rika... oh well, just Mercury-chan).

Placement

Highly unrelated to the PGSM series. It could place as a good opening for an anime with a schoolgirl, beach-happy oriented theme. Not my kind of plot but hey, this music is good!

Memorable

I REALLY love to watch Komatsu Ayaka's IDOL DVD (If I have one. Too bad I don't owe one. Her Tribute Video made by ArticKnight features some scenes from her IDOL DVD). It was shot on our country, the Philippines, specially on the place where I am now, Cebu City. She's so HOT! Though the background of the video was a bit slurty, I would love to play Mi Amor as a background song. It's good Latin beat-JPOP hybrid makes me wanna dance 'till I drop (Oh, the humiliation...).

Lyrics

Te quiero
Me gusta tu voz
Me quieres?
¿Tienes novia?

Wish this stanza will someday heard by me coming from the woman in my deams...

Itsuka
Anata no shiranai watashi mitsukete
Mi Amor!

One maxin of love will definitely explain this line from the song: LOVE IS BLIND.

Why Favorite Song?

What a big question. I'm a self-proclaimed Komatsu Ayaka fan. So biased I've given all her song reviews 5 hearts but my favorite song is from Hama Chisaki? There are a lot of reasons though. Ayaka-chan may have a beautiful body, sexy voice (I don't know if you'll agree with me.), and lots of offers from different groups (Her IDOL DVD from Nittele Genic, 2 photobooks (Ayaka no Natsu and Nicchoku), etc.) still, nothing compares to Chisaki-chan's HEAVENLY VOICE. Though she may be the youngest of the 5 Sailor Senshi actresses, I like how the way she sings. Soo coo and relaxing.

My friend also has a point on why Chisaki-chan sings better than Ayaka-chan. Her voice is like a cool, glass of water ona hot day. For Ayaka-chan, a warm noodle soup on a cold, lonely evening (Kinda enigmatic reason my friend gave, isn't it). If I were to rate this song, it's way more than 5 hearts. It's MY FAVORITE! Señorita Chisaki, me gusta tu musica! (I hope I got that again...).
