This piano piece is sad and depressing. Its as if a huge figh has just ended. In the fields you can see all your dead friends. you fight back the tears. you let them down you could not save any of them. but yet, you are aloud but the fates to live. Why are things so crule. You let the first tear fall down your face, and then just let out all of it.

The only way i see this being remembered is if it made you remember something or a scene or something. But since it is just a piano piece, i can not see many people jamming to this or anything.

i give this a 3. I can clearly see something as i hear this piece. Maybe even really sad point in a RPG. but still, no word just leaves it to you to think of what the writer ment with the music.

TONE/MOOD:

This feels kind of like a piece of game BGM. Don't get me wrong. In the GOOD way. I'm a big fan of 'unplugged' piano, and this is really beautiful. It's got a nearly-classical sound to it, and it's not nearly as 'dead' as a lot of the ones you get nowadays.

5 hearts, I like piano music very much! (I also like the piano Kiari* sailor dream and the Sad Sad piano theme!) It's very calm, and another reason is, that I also play the piano.

Sailor Uranus - G.E. Artemis


Tone/Mood:

Wow, this song is absolutely beautiful. I’m not a fan of classical music, but I just love this. When I listened to it for the first time, it made me think of beginnings or rebirth, and since that’s apparently what Endou had in mind, I think the song gives the message well.

Placement:

On Yoshito Endou’s Cosmos Explosion album. It’s a nice balance to all the rock.

Memorable:

I believe that it is. This is always the first song I think of when I think of Endou’s work. I often listen to this while doing homework, because it’s relaxing and helps me concentrate.

Lyrics:

There are no lyrics in this song, but I think it wouldn’t have worked as well with lyrics. This is one of those songs that’s fine on its own.

Sailor Neptune - Ruth


Tone/Mood

Relaxing. That's the best way I can describe this piano piece. Whenever I listen to this song, I feel calm and relaxed. And me being a lover of piano music has NOTHING to do with it. xD Endo-san has a true talent and I truely believe this is his best song out of the bunch so far.

5 out of 5 no doubt. Anything that is played on the piano instantly gets in A in my book but the fact that it's being done by Endo-san, it's really worth the five.

Tone/Mood

The mood of the piece could be said to be sombre, but it picks up and breaks out of what could be repetitive. I love how it builds up and fades back out so often; some piano pieces are predictable, but this isn't so much.

For some reason this piece reminds me of music from the Final Fantasy games. Other than that, I love piano music and have so much of it, unfortunately this doesn't really stand out that much.

Sailor Saturn - Miri-chan


Tone/Mood

Just... wow. It's a very emotional piece, with simple piano. A lonely sort of song. There was a lot of feeling and thought put into the piece. That, I can most certainly tell. The only complaint is that it seems to switch moods every so often. In the beginning, it starts of with single notes in a high octave. It sounds so very mysterious, almost like the beginning sequence of a fantasy movie. It then moves into some full music, still in the high range. This reminds of me a traditional dance. After that sequence, it moves into strong chords and harmony spanning the entire piano. This is more of the sort of music you would see in a climax scene in a martial arts movie. In conclusion, I'm still not sure what tone the piece was meant to take on; mysterious, free-flowing, or determined and angsty.

The only thing I think is memorable about the piece is the fact that it's actually a piano piece and not a vocal rock or pop song.

The light piano that the song starts with is very pretty. This song starts out making me think of X-Japan for some reason. This music is lovely and sad. I want to hug it... if that makes sense? The song just has this overwhelming despair combined with a glimmer of hope. A fantastic instrumental.

Tone/Mood

Very soft and quiet. I really like piano pieces like this, especially when I'm depressed. It's very easy to fall into the music when you're sad. The piece is very well organized, and it is especially obvious that in piano, Yoshito Endo's talent shines through the best. He should stick to this kind of work instead of that (sorry) crappy J-ROCK thing he's trying to pull.

Tone/Mood:

A very sad piano piece, this BGM like music has a very depressing mood on it. I like it a lot; I just love BGM (anime, movies, soap operas, etc.). The melody starts smoothly, then, the tone goes up and it has some sort of power. It never leaves that atmosphere of sadness, melancholy and angst. This could have been an excellent BGM for pretty guardian or another anime. Yoshito Endo really has a talent for this; I would like to hear more instrumental pieces from him.

I'll give this piano piece a 5 star rating, it is excellent and I like the mood of it. Good for those days with rain, or those days when you are moody and depressed.

Sailor Pluto - Sailorasteroid


Mood:

Well, I love piano music, because the instrument is so versatile and so natural. Most songs, I think, are worked out on a piano to see if they're solid. So even something like this, which sounds a little like an etude more than an actual polished piece, is a nice listen, what with the low notes melding with the higher ones. Could have clipped off the beginning and ending though.

Memorable:

Doesn't get quite as burned in as, say, the Sailor Moon Piano Fantasy songs do, but there's definitely some soul-touching melody.

Mmmm... sadness... what a nice tone and mood for a cold, lonely night. It's a very good music for a drama scene. Too bad it's short. Endo-san is really good on the piano (and I thought he's performance in PGSM playing the piano is a fake...)

Hopefully in a successful anime/japanese movie but for now, it's on his album.

Ahhh... early morning piano lessons with my roommate. He's always playing some songs (particularly Utada Hikaru and some BGM of Rurouni Kenshin). Maybe my roommate will like this song.

I love the mood of this song. It reminds me of something out of a very hopeful, and emotional scene from a miyazaki film, like spirited away.

I think it is memorable, considering after listening to it just twice, I'm already humming along with the tune.
