Miracle Dance Night

Topaz - Sailor Mercury

Tone/Mood

to me this song is very strong sounding but also very sexy. Its a wonderful song. The great dance feel to it makes it a great song to groove to. The deep voice of Azama is just so sexy.

Placement

This sadly no any where but for the CDs

Memorable

I would say if you a Sailor Jupiter live fan this is the song for you, well and me. hehe But other then that, I would say no.

Lyrics

I pull my hair back
I can't be defeated by the looks from those around me
The tough Jupiter with her hair in a ponytail ready for the battle

Tonight night
Silent night
Shinin' star
Hold me tonight
Hey hey

I wanna tell you
For you, my emotion
After hours
Cool down and
Show me

When I wake up
Tell me in that moment
Baby

I love this part of the song. Its fun and easy to sing with^>^ the words fit wonderfully with the character of Sailor Jupiter.

Overall Rating

5! besides Minako's Romance this is at the top of my list.

Alexander - Prince Endymion

Tone/Mood:

"Miracle Dance Night" is a perfect song!! It has an amazing and unique sound. The voice of Jupiter perfectly fits the melody because it is different, and, as Topaz said, it's really deep. This song contains some melancholic feeling but then it makes you forget about everything and start dancing.

Placement:

Unfortunatelly, only on the PGSM CDs.

Memorable:

While listening "Miracle Dance Night", you'll remember Makoto and Jupiter, because this is a song from her heart. If you feel the perfect melody and the unique voice of Azama, you'll immediately start singing "Miracle Dance..."

Lyrics:

Wonderful lyrics!! They are like a story about Makoto.

"I pull my hair back
I can't be defeated by the looks from those around me"

(I am sorry if it seems like I am coping Topaz's words) Makoto won't give up. Nothing can stop her. She beleives in herself and she's the strongest person I've ever seen.

"We can dance
At your smile
We can love
My heart pounds in excitement
We can dance
You whisper in my ear
We can love
The tactics of the dance trap "
This shows Makoto's soft heart. She easily can be heartbroken, but I am

sure that one day she'll meet the perfect love.

Overall Rating:

5 heart for "Miracle Dance Night"!! I think it's silly to say why I took that decision...

Ilse - Dark Sailor Mercury

Tone/mood

If you hear this you directly think of disco. It's because of the background music. If you play the karaoke version, it's perfect to play in a disco, or in a dance club, or at a party etc. Only one thing. I don't like the background music. It's nice to dance, but I don't like the melody.

Placement

Nope, not in the series

Memorable

I think that it's not really a song to remember. For me it's not memorable. It's just to dance, ok and that is it.

Lyrics

Finally! A song that is not about gazing and staring at things. It's describes someone who goes out and dances with some person. Yep, this is a song with lyrics that are not worthless! Azama, you are a great singer, but the music is stupid.

Overall rating

Three hearts. Azama can sing well, but I don't like the disco-thingy in this song. And it's not very memorable. I like Lovely yell better

Sailor Neptune - Ruth

Tone/Mood

Just a second, I need to listen to the song again....ok I'm listening to this as I type. VERY upbeat and sultry to my ears. I think this is more of a club scene. LOL

Placement

Never used anywhere in PGSM.

Memorable

Well only if you hear it. But I love it.

Lyrics

Tonight night/
Silent night/
Shinin' star/
Hold me tonight/
Hey hey/

I don't know why but I just love this part when ever Mew sings it. I love her English! LOL! It shows a softer side of Makoto that we rarely see in PGSM.

Overall Rating

4 hearts. Really good, upbeat Makoto song. I'd request it in a club in a heartbeat. That's what this song is to me. Good job Mew!

Frosted_Rain - Nephrite

Tone/Mood

DANCE TO THE GROOVE, BABY!! Man, I didn't know Myuu-chan can sing these kind of songs. It's a muvh better version than Romance. It has a weird opening but after that, IT'S DACE FEVER TIME!!!! This song is one of my top favorites of the PGSM OST's.

Placement

Of all the Sailor Senshis, Azama Myuu's songs were not heard on the series. Favoritism? Popularity rating? Hope they can place this on Act Zero to compensate her.

Memorable

I played this song to celebrate the New Year. Though it's my first time to be away from my parents on New Year's Day, listening to this song and all the songs I've played last New Year made my year's start a BANG.

Lyrics

We Can Dance
Anata no SUMAIRU de
We Can Love
Kodou ga takaburu
We Can Dance
Mimimoto de sasayaku
We Can Love
Dance wana kakehiki

Tonight Night
Silent Night
Shinin' Star
Hold Me Tonight
Hey Hey

I like the echo-thinge on the HEY HEY. HEY HEY HEY!!! Let's dance, BABY!!!

Overall Rating

Five hearts, baby! A very good disco song made by a very talented actress. Rock on Mew!!

Lauren - Sailor Mars

Tone/Mood

This Song Is VERY Upbeat And Sorta Sexy To Me. I Think This Is More Of A Club Song. LOL ^.^

Placement

Never Actually Used Anywhere In PGSM.

Memorable

As Alexander Said:

"While listening "Miracle Dance Night", you'll remember Makoto and Jupiter, because this is a song from her heart & sorta fits her. If you feel the perfect melody and the unique voice of Azama," Heck You Might Even Start Singing And Dancing.

Lyrics

These Are My Absolute Favorite Lyrics
"We can dance
At your smile
We can love
My heart pounds in excitement
We can dance
You whisper in my ear
We can love
The tactics of the dance trap "
This shows Makoto's soft heart. She easily can be heartbroken

Favorite ENGLISH Line

I love this part whenever Mew sings it. I truly love her English! ^,^LOL!.

Overall Rating

5 hearts. Really Nice, Sexy, Upbeat Makoto song. I'd Dance To It A in a heartbeat. That's How Much I Like This Song.way to go Mew!

Elly - Princess Serenity

Tone/Mood

So sexy! I especially like the opening with the synthesized whispers, or whatever you'd like to call them. Very cool. This song comes off as being a little faced paced on a first listening, but it's really not all that hyper. This song is very slow paced and Azama Mew's slightly lower voice gives this song a very sensual feeling.

Placement

Not in PGSM. This is a song from the Sailor Jupiter character single.

Memorable

Is it ever! This song has LASTING POWER baby! You'd be hard pressed to find a PGSM fan that doesn't know this song! This is definately a favorite in the PGSM community. "We can dance..."

Lyrics

I put on pink rouge
My perfume showers me in glamour
It's magic working on
The aggressive me
Touch my heart

Out of all the lyrics in the song, the opening bit reminds me of Kino Makoto the most. Makoto is *not* a frilly type of girl like the rest of the song implies. She has an agressive, boyish song. While I do like this song, 90% of the lyrics have very little to do with the character of Jupiter at all.

Overall Rating

Sorry everyone, but I'm only giving this song a three. While it may be popular with everyone else, I'm staying true to myself. This song isn't really on my top list. While the song is very cute and sensual (somewhat reminiscent of Initial U, for any of you BSSM fans out there) I just don't think it's a great character song for Jupiter.

Sailor Luna - Emo-chan

Tone/Mood

Well...this song sounds odd to be one of Jupiter's. It has that 70's disco feel to it, which is quite interesting. I like the mood of the song.

Placement

This was only available on the CDs.

Memorable

Personally I don;t think many people will think of this song as being that memorible. Don't get me wrong, this song is good, but it just doesn't fit the true role of Jupiter. This is more of an Usagi song, in my opinion!^^;

Lyrics

I let myself be escorted in your arms Your cool face, a sweet fruit

This has a lot of different meanings. I am thinking that she may be talking about Motoki in this part.

My true feelings say Hold me close to you Hey hey hey

This really makes me think she is talking about Motoki, because she sounds like she is struggling with her feelings for him.

Overall Rating

I'd give this song a 3 star rating. It has a good beat and decent lyrics, but I was a little disappointed with it.

Tuxedo Mask - Kero-chan

Tone/Mood:

I want to dance when I hear this song!!! The title fits perfectly to the song because the melody has some mystery on it, and the lyrics show us a dance night, where dancing with your perfect mate would be like a miracle to you (ok, ok the miracle part doesn't fit well but it makes the song have a cool title XD).

Placement:

Only in her character's single and PGSM Cd's.

Memorable:

The music and Mew's sexy tone of voice in this song can hardly be forgotten by anyone! XD I remember being on Ruth's webpage, when I saw they were previews for Makoto and Ami character's single. I remember listen to Miracle Dance Night preview O _ O *that was my face after listening to 30 seconds of the song* IT WAS PERFECT! XD I wanted to hear the complete song, and when I had the opportunity, it satisfied me a lot. I think how cool the idea of PGSM producers of giving new personalities to the characters, more vivid, more human (for their single's songs).

Lyrics:

I wanna tell you
For you, my emotion
After hours
Cool down and
Show me

Don't know why but I just LOVE this part. I think this is the climax of the song, where Azama's voice is really, really sexy and inviting to dance with her.

Overall Rating:

I like the song a lot, the music and how Mew's voice fit the melody. I'm going to give four stars though, because as much as this song is cool, I can tell a 100% it's a Makoto song (maybe in an 85% XDDD).

Jessica - Sailor V

Tone/Mood

There's a steady and mellow beat that would make this a good clubbing track and somehow (I have no idea what made me think this) with the rhythm, a DDR track?

Placement

The track wasn't used in PGSM at all, if I remember correctly. Maybe some of it could have been used in some of the Mako & Motoki moments.

Memorable

This is another of the songs I don't listen to often. If I'm playing the Dear My Friend album, then I'll listen to it, but I don't pay as much attention to it as I do to the others. Somehow, I associate her other character song more with Mako than this, but perhaps that's because I heard it first.

Lyrics

I put on pink rouge
My perfume showers me in glamour
It's magic working on
The aggressive me
Touch my heart

These lyrics seem to fit Makoto very much; she can be very feminine, despite her general tomboy and tough-girl appearance. She's a romantic at heart and would like to show it. ^^

Overall Rating

Ephie - Zoicite

Tone/Mood

Unfortunately, I don't care for this song much at all. For some reason it gives me the impression of walking through Chinatown by all their shops when they have their conflicting radios playing.

Placement

And it's CD only. I can't see where it would fit in the series unless they played it during the time they played basketball in her first appearance of the series.

Memorable

I can't remember this song at all until the track plays on my CD, and to tell you the truth, I usually skip over it.

Lyrics

I just feel it's vastly out of place. The lyrics go with the music well, but I just don't care for it, but I also don't think it goes with Makoto.

Overall Rating

I give this song a 1. I just don't like it.

Ciao - Sailor Pluto

Tone/Mood

It's very dancey - kind of the song that makes you want to get up and dance.. It reminds me of another song that is very similar but I don't know the name of it. I believe I've actually heard this song before, in an episode or something, but the music sounds very familiar to me somehow. I do like it tho, I remember hearing it for the first time after downloading it and thinking that this was kind of a cool song and it made up for the other character song of hers that I didn't like at the time. All I can say is that it makes me wanna get up and dance but it's 1.30am here so it might not be a good idea. *sheepish grin* The moves that go to the other songs in the 'dance lesson' video might work here. *grins*

Placement

It wasn't in the show at all.

Memorable

I definitely think this song is memorable - I recall bits of it even after not having listened to it for some time now. *smiles* I also remembered that I liked it then, and still do now. I wouldn't mind to have this album and dance around like a teenager again. *smiles*

Lyrics

I like the lyrics actually and I think that it really suits Jupiter as a character song because it's along the lines of her developing character as she doesn't care what people think of her, and she also learns to accept and give love freely at the end. The only part I didn't really like was the fact that so much of it was repetitive, but it is still a good song over all. The amalgamation of English and Japanese lyrics works surprisingly well here too, as does the relation of the words to the tune and the backing music.

Overall Rating

I would give the song a 3 rating, mainly because of the repetitiveness of the lyrics and the fact that it doesn't really allow her to showcase her voice much. It doesn't really show much at all except the fact that she can sound really good in English and that she can sing really fast.

Sat - Sailor Saturn

Tone

This has become one of my all time favorite songs from the series for its disco style beat. I am a person that admits my guilty pleasure.... disco. But Azama has the perfect voice for this. That deep rich voice that you NEED in a song like this.

Placement

I wish it had been in the series somewhere, but it wasn't. I would have been great to see Azama sing karaoke to this or something.... suffice, I can dream.

Memorable

I have never skipped over this song to date. I love it love it love it! That being said... yeah I think it is memorable.

Lyrics

The simple background of "You can dance" just makes me want to get up and dance.

Overall Rating

5 Hearts. It is the only song that I have heard her sing that I like and she does it SO well that you want to get up and shake your butt along with the song

Kaitlin - Kuroki Mio

Tone/Mood

Starting out with that weird womans voice, it sounds like she's moaning orgasmically. The song has a catchy beat and is fairly pleasant to listen to. Azama-san doesn't sound that into the song though, more like she's reciting the lyrics as opposed to really feeling them. The music is consistant as is the singing though, and that does count for something.

Placement

Only on the CD singles - probably a good thing. I doubt the girls are big into disco.

Memorable

Perhaps if you either 1) Really like Jupiter or 2) Wish it were the 70's. For me, this song is easy enough to forget.

Lyrics

The bizzare rap part stands out most for me...

I Wanna tell you
For you, My Emotion
After Hour de
Cool Down shite
Show me

Me wo samashita
Sono shunkan iu wa
Baby

How do you feel me?
Don't stop dreamin'
GO GO !

What the heck? We went from techno/disco to some momentary rap? Nothing about the lyrics really impresses me. A fairly typical Jpop-song.

Overall Rating

2 - I just don't care for it all that much.

Tobias - Sailor Venus

Tone/Mood

It has a moderate tempo... its definitely faster than "Sakura Fubuki" but slower than "Over Rainbow Tour"... This song is a little odd for me... I mean since it has a more discotheque kind of feel to it. I heard this on the Dear my Friend album. However, Azama-san has a great voice... so I can listen to it... I like it a lot... but it still is a bit of a different song. But I enjoy it... and it fits the character of Jupiter.

Placement

Honestly I can't see this song fitting anywhere... except if the entire group decided to have a karaoke contest... but it wasn't... it was only heard on various PGSM albums...

Memorable

Its on various playlists and on my MP3 player... I play it... not frequently but I do play it... I do think its memorable for the live action Jupiter... but not so memorable if you never heard it... Its memorable for me...

Lyrics

"DANSUHOORU Love GEEMU ENTORANSU de Kami wo kakiage Mawari no shisen ni makerarenai Hey Hey Hey"

those lyrics fit Azama-san's personification of Jupiter... she won't be defeated by the looks of others. Plus... the English use is good...

Overall Rating

4 out of 5... Its an ok song... I enjoy it... Even though I am not really into disco... but I love Club/Techno/Dance music... so I almost am being a hypocrite... ^^; Anyway its a good song... When I hear it I think of Jupiter (but am reminded of "We Believe You" by Shinohara Emi because Azama-san has such great vocal talent...)

Sailor Uranus - Nickole

Tone/Mood

This song has such an awesome beat to it, and not to mention the "pop" in it that makes you want to get your groove on! :)

Placement

Unfortunatly , such a good song as this is only on the CD. (I listened to it at the Kinokuniya bookstore! :) )

Memorable

Heck ya! This song will stick with you even in the roughest times of your life, it totally rocks!

Lyrics

I put on pink rouge
My perfume showers me in glamour
It's magic working on
The aggressive me
Touch my heart

I simply just love the way that Azama sings the beginning of this song!

Overall Rating

I will give this song a 5 for great beat, rythm, and voice for a PGSM song!

Queen Beryl - Alexa

Tone/Mood

This sounds to me like a song to dance to at a Dance Club or something I don’t like the disco thing but she can sing really good and this song is very pretty!

Placement

Not anywhere in PGSM.

Memorable

Yes! It’s very good, very memorable! The Disco-ness sounds okay with the Club-ishness so I love it! I’ll remember it for sure!

Lyrics

I pull my hair back
I can't be defeated by the looks from those around me
Hey hey hey

We can dance
At your smile
We can love
My heart pounds in excitement
We can dance
You whisper in my ear
We can love
The tactics of the dance trap

Tonight night
Silent night
Shinin' star
Hold me tonight
Hey hey

This is how it goes, the first paragraph makes me think Sailor Jupiter with her pretty ponytail. The second paragraph makes me think of this song’s beat, and I think it’s very cool. And the little bits of English, they’re very well said, and sound pretty how it’s like a bunch of background singers saying them.

Overall Rating

Four Hearts! This is my most favoritlicious Makoto-chan-song!!!

Joy Azama - Kunzite

Tone/Mood I first heard this song when I downloaded it last year. First impression: SEXY! I loved the weird sounds at the first part; it made the song unique. Dance dance dance, that's the message. I have this recurring dream and wishing that'll come true: TOEI made another Super Live Event, which included this song. Furthermore, it involves the senshis dancing sexily with their respective shitennou partners, and of course Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon (based on Takeuchi's infamous manga painting). *sighs* ^_^ Definitely one of my favorite PGSM songs, and is one of the top of my list.

Placement

Never played on any of the 49 episodes, Special Act, and Kirari Super Live Event.

Memorable

Definitely memorable for me. This song is none like another, it is unique, and the most sexiest of the PGSM songs. Mew's voice is so sultry and one of a kind, I love it! I have to admit, I always put this song unto the repeat mode ^_^. Couldn't get enough of it.

Lyrics

"Tsuyoki na watashi ni
Kakeru mahou yo
Touch My Heart...
... Mawari no shisen ni makerarenai..."

"Anata no manazashi
BURAKKURAITO
Shinin' Eyes"

The way Mew sang these lines is just plain magnificent, and the way she lowers the timbre of her voice... *squeals* These lyrics are like a challenge to anyone who crosses Makoto's path, it's like an invitation to determine who's the best and the strongest in terms of dancing, staring, etc. It shows the courage and confidence of Makoto... Womanly yet strong.

"The dance hall's love game
At the entrance
I pull my hair back
I can't be defeated by the looks from those around me
Hey hey hey"

Loved these lyrics, a perfect reflection of the personality and character of Makoto. You go girl! Go Mew!

Overall Rating:

I rate this song 5 out of 5 hearts. I loved everything about it! ^_^ Mew's vocals is just exceptional...

Sebi - Jedite

Tone/Mood

Also hard to place. Aftert listening to it a second time I'd hafta say the mood was some kinda funk-happy.

Placement

not in the show

Memorable

If you'r a fan of funk, then most definitly yes. If not, then most likely no.

Lyrics

Suprisingly coherent and they most certainly fit Jupiter very well. They do well as a pat of the song.

Overall Rating:

Laurana - Princess Sailor Moon

Tone/Mood

Now this song is definitely a song for club hopping!! I cannot get over the fact that this song makes me want to go to a club, and dance the night away. I get an overwhelming sensation of sexiness whilst listening to this song. Holy cow I enjoy this song just because of the feelings it summons from my mind. I just love the sexiness of this song because it makes me feel sexy! *^-^* It just has a '70's dance fever feel to it which is truly amazing to find this day and age.

Placement

Depressingly this song was not in the show, but it can be found on Jupiter's character single and other PGSM cds.

Memorable

Although I do not have any memorable experiences tied to this song I can never forget it. This songs beat and passion is not something I can easily forget. Now if anyone forgets this song I would like to know why they did.

Lyrics

The lyrics definitely fit the kinkiness of this passion invoking song! The lyrics definitely make me think of club hopping and dancing with a lover. The lyrics are so sexy and just not how I picture Jupiter/Mokoto or any of the senshi for that matter.

We can dance
At your gaze
We can love
My heart pounds in excitement
We can dance
You whisper in my ear
We can love
The tactics of the dance trap

I feel these lyrics capture the sexiness of this song, and at the same time they make you want to dance. Definitely not what I envisioned any of the senshi singing about it their spare time, but passionate no the less. I do like the lyrics, but this is just not the type of show these kinds of lyrics should be in!

Overall Rating

4/5 I give this song a four just because of the lyrics and the sexiness of this song; it just does not fit with the show. I love the song, do not get me wrong, but I just do not want our beloved senshi singing something so kinky! Great set of vocal chords Azama Myuu has, but she is just too young to be singing a song of this caliber.

Kuroki Mio - Kara

TONE/MOOD:

This is a DDR song, plain and simple. It's probably as far from any of the other image songs as you can get. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it really sticks out like a sore thumb in this set. However, on its own, this sort of retro-disco sound works well. It just doesn't seem very Mako-esque to me. Plus, it doesn't utilize Mew's voice the way it could. She's got such a nice range, and this just sort of drives it flat.

PLACEMENT:

Kino Makoto's character single

MEMORABLE:

As I said, it sounds like a DDR song to me. I wouldn't be able to pick it out of a playlist of retro dance music too easily.

LYRICS:

Well, at least they slide in place with the tone of the song. If it weren't for how well they fit there, I wouldn't be able to say much for them. I'm not a fan of 'Look at how pretty I am and how cool I think you are' songs - I hear those enough on the radio. But if it's put to a dance beat, I can handle it.

OVERALL:

1 out of 5. As I said, Mew can do (and has done) better. She deserves a more original, standout song than this.
