Ahahahahahhahaha! As soon as this started playing I pictured Usagi snooping around. Classic Usagi-tachi music. Too cute background music. Not so upbeat like "dance dance" music, but it gets you thinking about all of what is happening or what will be happening to our dear heroine. *snickers*

Placement

Yeah it's used whenever Usagi (can't remember if it was used for the other girls...possible) is about to do something Usagi-ish.

Dark Sailor Mercury - Ilse


Tone/mood

You also hear this very often in the series. Especially in the Karaoke Crown when Motoki’s fooling around with his turtle. I like it very much! It’s very funny. The other part you also hear often in the karaoke Crown. Why did they call it Nonbiri Usagi no Ichinichi, instead of something with Karaoke crown in it?

Tone/Mood

It's a slow piece, yet instills a very curious mood to the scene. The second part is classic. I like the exchanges between the cello and the violins.

DJ Moon 1, at quirky moments in the series when you just KNOW something amusing is about to happen.

Tone/Mood:

Eh, I’ve heard this song so many times that it just sounds like monotone to me. It drags a lot. The second half of the song sounds like it could be from a Harry Potter soundtrack.

Just about every episode.

Memorable:

Because it’s played a lot. Otherwise, it’s just a slow, boring song.

Kuroki Mio - Kara


TONE/MOOD:

This is more of a laid-back one. When put opposite its use in the series (which tended to be sort of 'slow' moments in the sense of confusion), it seems a bit strange now to be used to that effect. I actually find the second one a bit annoying.

About a 2 out of 5 - it'd be a 1, but the first half is a bit better. JUST a bit.

Sailor Luna - Emo-chan


Tone/Mood

Ah! I love this piece! It’s so kawaii and funny. The opening just reminds me of Motoki-kun and Kamikichi and the tone gives me an image of something awkward happening. I love it.

Placement

Well of course the opening is used whenever Motoki appears. Especially in crown and he is talking to his beloved turtle. Further into the bg, I remember it being used more around Usagi when she is scheming something.

Memorable

Oh god yes! Every time I think of motoki this song pops into my head! I just adore it. It sounds just like him, and the end of it reminds me of a grinning Usagi.

Tone/Mood:

Oh, this is nice! I visualize Usagi's cute face when she's saying "Maaan!". *laughs* Definately a good BGM.

Placement:

It's played in the scenes which Usagi and Mamoru or USagi and Motoki take place in or perhpas even in the most funny ones, I really don't remember.

Memorable:

Along with Sailor Mercury Ni, Make-Up, this is one of my favourite PGSM BGM's. It's memorable and cute.

Nephrite - Frosted_Rain


Tone/Mood

Sad and mellow, but with a bit comical because it’s mostly played when Motoki’s around. As far as I remember, this was played 3 times when he’s around

Placement

First used on Act 02 when Motoki is having fun looking at Kamekichi-kun inside his terrarium until Usagi butts in and shows her Crown Karaoke Passport.

Memorable

Also called as "Motoki's Theme" since most of this BGM's appearance involves mostly him (a good point is where he hunts for this "rare" species of turtle in one episode)

I guess at least Motoki as his spotlight with his "own BGM" when he’s around. Though the music sounds kinda boring, it adds nicely to the atmosphere (especially when Motoki’s around). 3/5

Sailor V - Jessica


Tone/Mood

It sound as if it should be a companion piece to some form of mime act...I don’t know why, but it does. Or something very repetitive. The tone seems rather neutral. The whole piece sounds as if its building to something, which in the show it usually is.

Placement

Multiple PGSM episodes. Usually an Usagi moment.

Memorable

Why do I associate this track with Usagi doing something stupid...? I don’t particularly like this track.

Sailor Pluto - Sailorasteroid


Mood:

Slinky, would have actually been good for a Dark Kingdom piece, but. . .

Placement:

it is for some of the Usagi moments.

Memorable:

It has a very surreal quality that fits for PGSM. Since the show was live action, some of the elements like plushie Luna and the sailor fuku took on a more incongruous look than those elements did in the anime. So over-the-top music like this is appropriate.
