Tone/Mood

This one is happy and cheerful, and is also played when the moments are happy and cheerful! I like the violin! The other part is slower then the other part, and less cheerful. Until the end, then it’s getting more cheerful!

Sailor Saturn - Miri-chan


Tone/Mood

Now THIS is cute, upbeat music! It makes you all happy, as if a bunch of people were happily preparing for a huge party or celebration. It reminds me of those classical era films that show people decorating a ballroom amidst all the hustle-bustle of preparations.

O_o I actually can't remember with this one, but I have heard it often in the series.

Very very memorable! It's fun and upbeat!

Boingboing! This is definitely an Usagi song. I get the image of Usagi clowning around from this song =)

Kuroki Mio - Kara


TONE/MOOD:

The first half is fun and cute and happy. And skippy. You know what? The tone is 'Usagi.' That pretty much encompasses it. The second half sounds too much like a clock. I'm not sure what the intent was here.

3 out of 5. It's nice and bouncy at the start, but the second half kinda bugs me. I figure it must be the low string section that gets me (here as in other songs).

Sailor Luna - Emo-chan


Tone/Mood

First off, this piece is very upbeat as it starts off. It’s chipper and happy-sounding. As it gets further into the piece, it slows down and becomes more somber I think.

Placement

The opening I remember being used while Usagi is shopping, or running around doing things. The second part of the piece I believe was used while Usagi was scheming as well, or talking. I cannot remember too well.

A 3.5 because I do like the beginning, but this isn’t one of my favorite pieces. Still it is very well done and was used well in the series.

Sailor Mercury - Alexander

^.^ This peace is really good! It's very happy and funny. If you aren't even a PGSM fan, but a person who's seen a couple of acts, I am more than sure that you do know this BGM!

Tone/Mood

Jolly tune. Jolly good time with the violin there... with flute. It’s like I’m prancing around the forest with a picnic basket (Ewww...)

First used on Act 01 when Luna and Usagi made their plan in entering the fashion store (after Usagi used her phone to get the clothes of the model)

Memorable

Reminds me of those good ‘ol days in playing The Sims. This music reminds me of shopping on the game.

Jolly, jolly and too jolly. It’s like a dance (the first part). The second part sounds comical. But better than the previous BGMs. 4/5

Sailor V - Jessica


Tone/Mood

A very bouncy, happy piece that’s not too chirpy or hyper. It was mostly used for positive or joking moments, and that’s what it seems to fit. The pace is good, it doesn’t speed up too much, and even if the main melody is going fast, there’s a beat slowing it down a little.

Placement

Multiple PGSM episodes. First scene I could place this to was Usagi pretending to be Minako and leading all the crazy fans on a chase.

Memorable

I think its played usually when something has to be done, or there’s a plan going on, individually or as a group, at least, that’s what I remember it for.

Sailor Pluto - Sailorasteroid


Mood:

More peppy walking music. This one has almost a Disney feel to it. Can't you hear the seven dwarves almost?

Wakarimasen!

Memorable:

It's stylized, but not worth listening to on its own. The whole PGSM BGM isn't worth it for the sheer musical glory, only its use in the show.
