W Waldorf Towers - home to Sayuri after she moved to America in 1956. The Waldorf Towers are a famous American hotel that also features permanent living arrangements. The Waldorf Towers are owned by the Hilton family, who are in turn the owners of the Hilton Corporation, a company that owns various hotels and hotel chains all across the world. The Waldorf Towers are different than the Waldorf Astoria, another hotel that is also run by the Hilton family. The Waldorf Towers were originally opened by William Waldorf Astor, a millionaire. At the time of its opening, it was the largest hotel in the world. wareshinobu (桃割れ) - the traditional hairstyle of an apprentice geisha.
