Sailor Pluto is one of the most enigamatic sailor senshi. She has no definate age and can control time and space. She holds one of the Three Talismens, the Garnet Orb. Sailor Pluto is the guardian of the door of time. There is a limit to her control over time - she is forbidden to travel through time, leave the door that she protects, and she can not stop time - and if she crosses that limit, she will die.

Pluto, however, does stop time in order to stop Prince Diamond from joining the two Silver Crystals. Sailor Pluto dies, but is brought back to life in the present day Tokyo.

After her death and rebirth, Sailor Pluto lives as Meioh Setsuna, a scientist of some sort. She is studying when some plants created by Tellu of the Witch's Five emits a gas that causes her to pass out and almost die. Setsuna struggles for life until she awakens as Sailor Pluto once again and kills Tellu with Dead Scream.

Sailor Pluto, along with Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, help the senshi in their fight against Mistress 9 and Master Pharaoh 90, and then take care of the rapidly growing baby Hotaru afterwards.
