Tuxedo Kamen Mamoru is Usagi's good looking boyfriend and Tuxedo Kamen. That's all one would probably say about Mamoru when asked who he is, but there's much more to him. Mamoru's past is a sad one - when he was about 6, he was in a car crash with his parents. The crash killed his parents and wiped out his memory. He grew up without ever regaining his memory, but he excelled in school and when first introduced in the series, he attends an elite high school. Mamoru, however, didn't become your plain old high school student. At night he would dress in a cape and tuxedo and search for something, but he didn't quite know what until he met Usagi. One would think they'd never go together. Mamoru often called her names and picked on her, but they were strangely drawn to eachother. He eventually discovered Usagi was Sailor Moon and Usagi discovered he was Tuxedo Kamen. Mamoru's true identity is revealed when he moves in front of Sailor Moon to block and attack by Kunzite of the Dark Kingdom and is horribly wounded. Mamoru's and Usagi's memories come flooding back along with deja vu. Mamoru is Prince Endymion of the Earth Kindgom so many years ago. Endymion and Princess Serenity, or present day Sailor Moon, were secret lovers. Endymion was killed during a war on Earth and because of her grief, Serenity commited suicide. Endymion was reborn as Mamoru and Serenity as Usagi and it was destiny that they find eachother and fall in love again. Throughout Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Mamoru fights along Usagi and their love is undying, despite their arguments. Attacks
