Sailor Star
Maker Transformation Taiki Kou, or Kou Taiki (his first, or personal, name is Kou), is the guitar player in the musical group the Three Lights. Taiki is actually Sailor Star Maker of the Sailor Starlights. Taiki is from the planet Kinmoku and one of Princess Kakyuu's protectors. Taiki first appears in the manga when Seiya picks up Usagi after she faints. Usagi fainted when she saw Galaxia take Mamoru's starseed. The Starlights then rush Usagi out of the airport in a taxi. When Usagi finally came to, they let her wobble home and Usagi remembers nothing of the incident. The Starlights later performed at a concert along with Michiru and Haruka. Sailor Iron Mouse attacked at that same concert and the Sailor Starlights mysteriously appeared and killed Sailor Iron Mouse. The next day, the Starlights enrolled in the same school as Usagi and the rest of the gang. Taiki proves to be as smart as, maybe even smarter than Ami. At a concert where Sailor Iron Mouse appears, Taiki is soon revealed to be Sailor Star Fighter. She fights with Sailor Moon, Chibi Chibi, the other Starlights, and Princess Kakyuu against Galaxia and is killed by Sailor Chi. The anime is similiar to the manga in the StarS season, however, Taiki is actually female throughout in the manga. In the anime, however, when he (or she) is on Earth, she takes on a male form. When Taiki transforms, she is actually a girl. Also, when Taiki is at Kinmoku, he is actually a girl. Did that make sense? No? Good. Taiki, along with all the other senshi, are eventually revived by Sailor Moon and return to Kinmoku with Princess Kakyuu. |
