TCG stands for trading card game. On an online TCG, you are able to play games to earn cards, enter in contests with prize and card rewards, and interact with other players. This particular online TCG is focused around the hit series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

what you need to play

  • A working e-mail address that you can be contacted by.
  • A website on which to display your cards. If you do not have hosting, you can sign up for free hosting at sites like geocities, freewebs, or you can apply for hosting on websites that offer it, like reisei-sa.net. You must display your cards, a trade post, and cardlog on this page. For an example of what your post should look like, please feel free to check out the code of my trade log for a tcg I belong to, moonlight legend.
  • Willingness to interact in the TCG. I know, it sounds silly. But I've joined TCGs many a time to figure out a week or so later that a) I didn't like the TCG game-play or b) I simply didn't have time to keep myself involved. So before you join, be sure that you have an interest in collecting the cards, playing the games, and have enough time to devote yourself to regularly interacting with members and updating your trade post.

leveling up

Whenever you collect a certain number of cards, you are rewarded with a "level up" bonus of two choice cards. Please note that you level up by the card worth of your collection, not just the number of cards you have.

...even after you reach odango atama level, you continue to gain level up rewards for every 200 cards collected, but your title in the TCG does not change.

deck mastery

Mastering regular decks earns you 2 choice cards, OR a 1 choice special card. Mastery of special decks earns you 4 choice cards OR a 2 choice special cards. Of course, mastering cards on your own won't be easy, so be sure to be an active participant in trade!

To submit a "mastery" form, please go to the "forms" link, found under the "members" section of the navigational section. If you are mastering a special deck, please submit your mastery for this TWICE, choosing your DIFFERENT CARDS each time!

crown karaoke passes

If you want extra cards, you need to get into the right freebies room! In order to go to the "karaoke rooms" where extra cards are distributed, you need to have the appropriate pass to gain entrance! The different passes to get into different karaoke rooms look like this:

You can earn these passes by participating in different games and competitions in the TCG. If you're lucky, you might even find one randomly on one of the pages!

after you join

You will receive your starter pack. From there, you are expected to build and upload your card post, including a card log to document which cards you received from playing which games, and a trade log, detailing which card you traded with who for what card in return.
