some rules to follow

If you're active in TCGs, you've probably read a similar rules list a thousand times over. However, there are some rules that are specifically pertinent to this TCG, so I require that you read these rules over before joining. The list isn't long; humor me.

checklist:

Before joining, please be sure that you meet these requirements:

1. you must have a valid e-mail address you can be easily reached by.

2. you must have webspace dedicated to your trade log for this TCG

if you aren't sure how to keep a "proper" trade and card log, please feel free to look at example so that you have an idea of what you're supposed to do.

3. your join name must be unique and reasonable.

names written in l33t speak, all capitals, or names with a thousand symbols like ~ or * attached are not acceptable. if the name you choose is not unique on your join form, you will receive an e-mail asking you to chose a different name.

4. you must join our forum.

all mastery, level up, and form information is generally handled through the forum. if you don't join the forum, it's almost impossible to get "ahead" in the game.

5. you will not direct link images from this site.

6. do not take cards from old updates and freebies

for example: if there were freebies given away on New Year's Day, and you joined the TCG on January 2nd, you can not take the freebies for New Year's Day.

7. you will not cheat. here are some examples of cheating:

  • keeping cards on your site after you have traded them away
  • assuming that someone has accepted a trade and taking their cards without permission
  • signing up for multiple accounts
  • reloading a prize page until the randomizer shows a card you need
  • taking rewards from games more than once
  • looking at someone else's trade log to figure out what the prize was for a game you couldn't figure out, and taking that prize as if you had played the game yourself
  • looking at the source code of a game to find the prize page location
  • not keeping a detailed trade log
8. you will not spam the forum.
...if you make useless topics, bump old ones to make a one-line comment, or constantly post to get a higher post count, you will be removed from the forum and from the tcg.

9. you will not harass the staff. we all have lives outside of the internet.

harassing the staff includes sending the same e-mail a bunch of times so that your question or form will be answered sooner, insulting the staff, constantly PMing the staff to "remind" them about a forum, etc. use common sense here.

10. you will not harass other .

harassing other members includes making insulting comments, "trolling" topics, being rude, etc.
