Episode 3: The Mysterious Sleeping Disease, Protect the Young Girl's Loving Heart!

Usagi and Naru (separately) are listening to a new love talk radio, where the DJ reads love letters and awards the writer of that night's featured letter a brooch. Haruna-sensei's letter is featured, and the next morning she comes into school wearing a purple flower brooch. She is very tired, and falls asleep during class. Haruna-sensei is sent to the hospital, and the students are given a free day.
After school, Naru and Usagi talk about the new love program, and how they want to write letters. Naru says that she is going to make up a boyfriend to write about to submit to the show. While this is going on, Usagi bumps into Mamoru (who she thinks is a lightpole, she apologizes to the lightpole o.O;), who calls her "odango atama" (meatball head).
When Usagi gets home, she tries to write a love letter, but comes up with nothing. She and Luna decide to take a trip down to the radio station, but the guard tells them there is no program like the one they describe.
The next day at school, Naru is happy because her letter was featured on the radio show. She too now has a purple flower brooch. Usagi is sitting close to her, so when the energy draining begins, both Naru and Usagi pass out. Usagi has some hallucination about Tuxedo Mask. Usagi wakes up in a hospital next to Luna, who tells her that something must be wrong at the radio station. At the radio station, Luna gives Usagi her Transformation Pen. Usagi transforms into a "sophisiticated talent scout" and enters the building.
She finds that all of the staff is asleep, and she rushes into Jedite's booth, where he is playing announcer. One of Jedite's youma tries to attack Usagi, and then she transforms into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon attempts to kill Jedite after destroying his youma, but she doesn't because Jedite is stopped by Tuxedo Mask's rose, and he retreats.
The next day, everyone wakes up. Usagi tries to write a love letter to Tuxedo Mask, but Naru notices it and takes it from Usagi. Naru tells Haruna-sensei that it's Usagi's love letter. Haruna-sensei gets really excited and starts to chase them both around the classroom.
