Jen, AKA: THE OWNER

Welcome to the staff page. I'm Jen, the owner of the Sailor Moon Funny Faces Gallery. Somehow, this nifty website fell into my lap, and now I shall stroke it and love it like a tiny lap dog... If the SMFFG was a lap dog, I'd have to say it would be a Pug, because Pugs are the most awesome kind of dogs in the world. Anyway...

I've been a fan of Sailor Moon since 1998. The first episode I saw was episode 38: "The Snow! the Mountains! And a Monster, too!" (which I think was called "Ski Bunny Blues" in the English dub), which I fell in love with instantly. My favorite character of the bunch is Sailor Venus, who shares many of my personality traits, in my opinion..

I first became involved with the Sailor Moon Funny Faces Gallery in 2008, when Elly decided to revamp the site. I helped provide raws, and helped cap episodes. I was also a regular on the now-defunct Podcast. These days, I now handle EVERYTHING on this site, and I also help with graphics editing and other tedious tasks over at Miss Dream

Elly, AKA: Tech Support

You see that pretty crazy lookin' chick to up above? That's me, Elly. I'm the ~~leader~~ tech support gal of the SMFFG staff and am responsible for all of the monotonous tasks that are necssary for keeping this place online. Stuff like layout creation, php coding, script management, database management, and all that sort of nonsense. I also make all of the little 'goodies' you can get for download at the SMFFG, like the LJ icons, friends only banners, or other neat stuff like winamp skins.

But really, I'm the jerk who thought up this scheme of re-opening the Sailormoon Funny Faces Gallery and bringing it back from the dead. So all of this complaining that I do, it's really all my own fault. I'm also fond of web-design and programming (hah), gardening, and organization, though you'd never guess that if you visited my home. I really can be quite a slacker!

What, you're losing interest already?! What a bummer! And here I thought I was becoming the apple of your eye, the love of your life! Well, scratch that. You're not interested you say? I'm not all that charming you say? Well, damn, I'd better wrap this up then: I'm the dork who can be found on LiveJournal or AIM as sassypants678. Miss Dream is pretty much the coolest place ever if you're a Sailormoon fan. It's basically like the SMFFG but with less images and more kanji. So...that is to say, not at all like the SMFFG. But still worth a visit! GO GO GO!

Sailorasteroid, AKA: The Trusty Side-Kick

This guy is Sailorasteroid. Even though he picked a girly pseudonym, he's totally a guy. Also, he's a total otaku and geek, who has no life. Seriously, he does almost nothing but work and go home and hang out on the Intertubes and watch anime and other geeky programs. Beyond Sailormoon, he likes slice-of-life anime like Azumanga Daioh and Aria.

You can contact Sailorasteroid on AIM at seraasteroid (some lame-o took the username he wanted, so it's the Japanese phonetic spelling), and should do so, especially if you're a cute girl. (this might be a good time to mention that even though it's in the third person, Sailorasteroid wrote this himself. Also, he can't be like Elly and write pages and pages.)

Margi, AKA: The Tablet-Weilding Alien

Somewhere on the internet is a person. This person is a female. This female has a name. This name contains five letters, none of which are the letter "Q". This female person, who will henceforth be known as "Margi", is a sentient being who may or may not originate from the planet Earth (but in the likely event of a universal zombie apocalypse, does it really matter if my brains are pink or green?) whose hobbies include writing bizarre military sci-fi/horror stories, digital art, and eating everything within a 10 mile radius. If it is edible and you have not eaten it yet, and if it is not surrounded by bulletproof glass, I will most likely end up consuming it. Some say my stomach contains a black hole capable of absorbing our entire galaxy in a matter of seconds, but personally I believe that if there really is a place on my body that contains a dark and empty void, it's my head.

Sailor Moon is the primary focus of my weeabooism. The rest of my life revolves around fashion, outer space, and food. Contacting me is easier than you think (though I don't know why you'd want to), for I am a user of this electronic mail system you Earth people call "e-mail"!
